Get what you pay for.
these are not a very high-quality shoe, but I purchased them expecting that. I bought these as a quick throw on and knock around shoe. They are very comfortable and unless proven otherwise I do suspect them to hold up for quite a while. A good shoe for the price.

Lightweight shoe – better than most in this style
For thirty bucks I don’t expect much from a shoe, and I’ve seen a lot of these types of ‘lightweight shoes’ that are really just glorified flip flops. Flimsy knit uppers on cheap foam soles that aren’t going to last more than a week or so.But these are actually a decent pair of shoes. They’re still on the flimsy side but the synthetic upper has soft padded lining at the heel, and the foam soles are enhanced with little bits of rubber on the bottom for good grip and durability. The insole is lightly contoured to support your arches and very well cushioned. There’s still not much to them, and they’re certainly not as rugged or durable as even a basic pair of athletic shoes. They’re not built to run races or do any sort of sports. But for a lightweight pair of shoes that you can slip on and slip off to wear around the house or neighborhood they’ll do just fine. And you won’t break the bank adding them to your collection.

Slip ons
These are good quality and comfortable. The shoes are sized properly and the upper has even stitching and looks great. My son says they make him feel a lot taller and the soles aren’t too light or too heavy. I ordered the black with white sole. Inside at the back, near the heel/ankle is some extra padding for comfort. The edging of the upper (around the opening) is reinforced/edged with heavy but soft fabric. The two pull tabs are very solidly attached. These shoes can stretch a bit for wider feet, but not too much. They definitely won’t work for very wide feet. There is good flex and good traction with these shoes and the insole area is more firm. You could put other insoles in for more comfort if you needed to as the ones in the shoes are removeable. The shoes have a firm/stiff insert at the back/heel for shape and the heels are lined with something like memory-foam over the extra heel padding. The material of the shoes is uniform and durable on the outside with an appealing breathable fabric look. It seems like it will last well as it is thicker than most canvas shoes, but more pleasing to the touch than canvas. If you have a lot of foot problems, you may not like these as this style isn’t super supportive. My son needed shoes to slip on quickly for casual wear and these are perfect for that.

Comfy Shoes for Wide Feet
I needed some new shoes for work. As a teacher, I spend much of the day on my feet lecturing, so comfy shoes are a must. I also tend to teach early classes, 7:30AM start time means I need to get there early and can’t be late as there thirty eyes noticing every minute. Thus, slip-ons are ideal. These slip on easily, and the top is sturdy enough to keep the shape. The bottom is quite cushy, having a nice comfortable give, whether I’m in front of the class or walking across campus. The mesh netting top is also nice since California weather can get quite hot, so the breathability feels great. These are also great for wide feet as they have plenty of room for my rather broad feet. Overall, these fit all my needs and exceeded expectations!

Comfortable slip on shoes
These shoes are very comfortable, and easy to get on and off. They’re very lightweight, which makes them nice to wear.

Like Walking on Pillows
I found these to be true to size and a little better looking than the pictures would seem to indicate. The cushion under the heel is very impressive making it feel like walking on pillows. It’s hard to tell how long this will last but after a few hours they were still very comfortable. I tend to stay away from slip on shoes because of my narrow heel leads to slipping but didn’t notice any problem with these. I was unable to slip the shoe on (with socks) without using the tab but it was easy enough. The only surprise was the lack of a shoe box which I found delightfully interesting (lack of waste). Probably the best pair of inexpensive shoes I’ve ever worn.
