Sweaty Hand and Pressure Point Nemesis
Bought this because of the texture comments and it did not disappoint. Lots of people like those sticky mats – you know the ones . . . You it’s a silent room and you HEAR a hand Thffffpht from the mat and adjust over? This doesn’t happen with this one thankfully. You want to know what sucks about those mats? If you have sweaty hands, that sticky Thfffpht stops happening and your mat is not a slip and slide. This may top is more fabric like, so sweat doesn’t make it slick. Also, it’s nice and cushy. So if you’re worried about your tushy, this mat is also perfect. I’m a plus sized yogi, and it has been perfect for me. Not to narrow, works beautifully. It has a strap, but it’s useless if you’re larger. Otherwise, it’s perfect.

Beyond Pleased With The Quality!
Ok, so I’m a very athletic person and like to use mats for everything from Peleton classes (weights, yoga, stretching, etc.), And also use the mat for personal stretching and ab workouts. I was initially intrigued by the way that the mat looked in the pictures, but we all know that pictures can be deceiving-well, not in this case! It actually looks even BETTER in person. It’s the little things, like the fact that both sides of the mat (in my case, blue and grey) had their own unique pattern that added great grip on each. One thing that took me by surprise was how amazing the carrying strap is. No joke, the most hyped up brands always come with the most basic carrying straps IF they come with them at all. I didn’t notice this in the product page pictures, but even the strap feels like a better quality-that may sound like something you could care less about, but you don’t realize until you try it yourself. Add the perfect amount of cushion that you’re able to find support but still be explosive from the mat, and this is why I’m beyond thrilled to take the time to express my happiness for this product. I look forward to seeing what else this brand has to offer, because I now know that doing my research really pays off. 🙂

So cushy! Completely non-slip
This is by far the best yoga mat I have ever had! It is SUPER cushy and completely non-slip. In fact, it’s hard to get in my mat bag because it will not slide in! Beware it is kind of heavy, but totally worth lugging around in my opinion. It’s super easy to clean, too. Just use water and it looks new again! I got the hot pink and it is gloriously vibrant in person. I absolutely love it and highly recommend!

This has to be my favorite mat yet! I’ve tried so many including rug style.Nice and squishy making griping easier. Knees don’t hurt. Really long and I don’t have to scoot to fit the mat. I do wish it was a bit wider and had lines on it for lining up feet. Absorbed sweat and didn’t slip on it.It has a nice texture that looks like a carpet and has a soft feel to it.I use mine over my carpet and it doesn’t slide around like some do.

If anyone has sensitive knees like I do and try to use some heavy weights, I orderd the 12mm and it’s got some SERIOUS cushion! Don’t feel the floor at ALL. Crazy.

I am giving 4 stars because the item arrived damaged but the entire experience was great1/ item arrived faster than expected2/ customer service was top notch3/ currently my city is in lockdown and the customer service was understanding and we worked out a solution that was tailored to my situation.The mat is very good quality, very light weightand thicker than your average mat (as described), firm enough to give good balance on standing pose, doesn’t stretch when planking, and yet smooth under your knees and easy on the wrists.But I think it wasn’t packed properly. The box didn’t seemed damaged (but carton might have more bounce than the mat)Something heavy crushed the mat and ruined the foam. Resulting in permanent creases and dentsThe stripes where shoved inside the mat which caused the dents.Despite this I didn’t notice any tears, which I think is a tribute to how good quality it’s supposed to be. So overall with a sturdier package I would definitely recommend and buy again this mat! I wish they made the same but wider!
