I didn’t realize size made a difference, until now
I was looking for a thicker and slightly longer yoga mat.I’m only doing meditational-type yoga for stretching and calming so I don’t sweat a lot. I only bring that up as alot of folks will mention they either do/don’t slide on a mat due to sweat so I have no input on that.For my purposes this mat is stellar. I honestly didn’t realize that size would make such a big difference, but it does. I don’t have to worry about my hands or feet ending up on the floor, and the thickness helps my joints too. I’m only 40, but a thin $6 garbage mat from TJ Maxx made my joints feel like I wasn’t using a mat at all….

Don’t pay the price for this item
Mat was not worth the money I paid for it. It was not as thick as it said was going to be. Such a miss advertisement, not comfortable at all. It was functional and nonslip and was able to get through my event. Just not worth the money I spent. Giving it 1 star, even though I don’t want to give it any stars

Mat is OK.
The mat is OK. It’s comfortable and I haven’t any problem with slipping on it. It is disappointing at this price point that they cheaped out on the strap. A nice strap with Velcro loops at each end would have added maybe $.25 to their manufacturing process. Kind of has a chemical smell that I hope will go away soon.
