Omega-3 Support | Made with the highly concentrated SuperbaBoost, Next Generation Krill Oil, Oceanutra Krill Oil is 100% Pure Wild-Caught Krill Oil and has very high Phospholipid levels at 56% (PL56). Even higher than Superba 2, which is 40% and some others claim to be krill oil, their levels can be as low as 5% which typically means they are blends and predominantly fish oil. Look for 100% Pure Krill Oil and avoid the digestive issues often associated with fish oil. Supports menstrual comfort.
PL 56 | More Phospholipids and Choline | Phospholipids make up 56% of Oceanutra Pure Krill Oil and also represent the building blocks of cell membranes in the body and therefore effectively deliver EPA and DHA to the blood, tissues and organs almost immediately. Supplementing the diet with Pure krill oil contributes to choline intake, which in turn supports cell membrane function and contributes to normal liver function, as well as normal lipid and homocysteine metabolism.
EPA DHA play many roles in the human body. They promote a healthy heart and help maintain normal triglyceride and blood pressure levels. DHA in particular can contribute to normal brain function and eye health. Since the human body cannot efficiently make EPA and DHA on its own, it is important that these fatty acids are supplied through the diet. Watch out for others that claim to be high potency Omega 3s, but contain Ethyl Esters or rTG, which are synthetic (made in lab).
VANILLAN | NO FISHY AFTERTASTE | Pure Krill’s Phospholipid-bound omega-3 fatty acids are water dispersible, making them easier to digest than fish oil. Pure Krill Oil’s ability to be absorbed directly means that your body is getting a higher percentage of Omega 3s than other non-phospholipid bound products, which means you are getting more of the benefits you paid for. Don’t be fooled by others with misleading labels. Look for Pure Krill and confirm the phospholipid percentage makes sense.
USA: Oil Extracted, Processed, Encapsulated and Bottled in the USA from Wild-Caught Antarctic Krill. New More Concentrated, Premium Formula | Just one soft gel a day. Each softgel contains 1000 mg of certified 100% pure, sustainable & traceable Antarctic Krill oil with more naturally occurring EPA, DHA, Phospholipids and Astaxanthin. Krill Oil has phospholipid bound omega 3s that are absorbed directly and not stored as fats like fish oil, which can be lost before entering the cell membrane.

Quality Product That Delivers
I’m currently on my third bottle and have been 100% satisfied with the results. I chose this manufacturer of Krill Oil after an extensive search for a product that had the highest levels of EPA, DHA, Astaxanthin, Choline, & Phospholipids when the brand I was using was no longer available. The capsules are packaged in a dark blue glass bottle and sealed with an aluminum lid for protection of the product all of which can be recycled.I have also been very pleased with the no burping after taste of fish and the improvement of my quarterly blood work. The cost is a little more than previous products but the results have made it worth it.

Seems high quality. Bit spendy
I have only been taking this for a few days, and at half dose at that (how I ease into all my supplements), so I can’t say my (fill in the blank) is remarkably better. What I can say is this appears to be a high quality. At least, the marketing hype on the company’s website implies it is high quality. What I don’t see on the bottle, the description, or the website is that the contents are 3rd party tested (with evidence of the testing), or that it was manufactured at an GMP facility (which theoretically tests what goes in the bottle to ensure it matches the label). The fact those things don’t exist doesn’t mean this isn’t a quality product, it’s just nice when you have validation it is.Krill are tiny little shrimp like things. The great thing about using them for omega 3s is the potential for mercury poisoning is tiny. But I would argue if you are getting omega 3s from sardines or sprats it’s pretty small as well. They also have other benefits, like choline, which apparently we are all short of.The marketing on this product implies this is sustainably caught, and if you go to their website they talk about being able to trace your batch to a specific catch – which sounds cool, but the bottle I received didn’t match the two lot numbers they had links too and nothing happened when I clicked on the links (that might be an issue on my end though).Other things to note… this comes in a glass bottle with a tin lid (or metal of some kind). Much better than plastic. I have always considered supplements in glass as a higher quality than those that come in plastic but there is no basis for it. And… last but not least, the product is fished in the antarctic, then extracted and bottled in Houston. So… summing it all up, I am somewhat skeptical of it all, but I like the story well enough I will get through this bottle and likely buy another and see how I feel at the end. I don’t anticipate any great change, but I do like the purported benefits. This is more expensive than getting a giant bottle of fish oil at a big box store. I like the no plastic, sustainable fishing (the concept, in practice, I have read the bodies that oversee this aren’t terribly effective in international waters), and the supplement profile. I’d like to see some validation of the sustainable practices and 3rd party testing of the product, but if you are comfortable with the price, go ahead and give it a try.
