Easy to use
I bought this for my elderly mother. I would not say this will build muscle or help you lose weight, per say. But the fact that it moves on its own it has been good to keep my mom’s circulation going. And the remote is easy enough for even her to use. It is sort of a set it and forget it type of thing. She puts her feet on, turns it on, it starts to move her legs, she sets the speed, and then she just watches TV. It will automatically shut off after 30 min. For the elderly I think this is a good tool.

It is not what it seems
This looks like a miniature version of ellipticals found at fitness clubs. But instead of using it to get some exercise and burn calories, it moves your feet with zero effort and zero calories. It is a beautiful piece of engineering and might be helpful for a paraplegic but not for someone who wants to strengthen their legs or get some cardio. The resistance is literally negative.
