Great Chair / Workout / Get your 9 year old son’s attention device
I purchased this ball from Amazon about over 6 months ago. I’m 5’9 and weigh about 160 pounds.I use this ball mainly to help relieve tension in my lower back after a motor vehicle accident injury. It’s mid thigh high with the amount of air I have in it. It can be inflated according to your preference. If neccessary you can write your name on the ball using a sharpee on the TKO logo located on the ball. Co-workers have all sorts of different exercise balls in my office. I’ve sat on others and generally they all feel the same although most people in my office made the mistake of purchasing smaller balls from local stores thinking they’d be just as big as this ball. WRONG! Amazon = Awesomeness.The ball is constructed of quality material. I don’t anticipate this ball bursting EVER. I’ve used this thing a lot over the last 6 months for basic stretches and work outs. Great for hyperextending your back while providing excellent support. I don’t have a fear that my ball is going to burst or I’d have a pretty hard time trusting it enough to actually use it.I also own the Max Fitness Ball (Max Fitness 75cm Exercise Ball with Foot Pump (Black)) and although they are both quality balls the Max Fitness ball “gives” a little more and as a “chair” in the office feels slightly more comfortable. The Max Fitness material is more flexible and has a shiny appearance to it as compared with the dull more dense material that the TKO ball is composed of.To be fair the TKO ball is advertised as an anti-burst ball and comes with a workout chart and hand pump (which I don’t like much after using the foot pump that comes with the Max Fitness ball). I have logged more hours on my Max Fitness ball and use the TKO ball for workouts at home and to throw at my 9 year old when he’s not looking/paying attention/ignoring me/annyoing me/or misbehaving. They are the only two brands I could find on Amazon offering black colored excercise balls.Either way you can’t go wrong if you’re in the market for a 75cm BLACK colored ball. I like them both equally and this ball definitely holds its own. The ball looks great, feels sturdy, and doesn’t gather a lot of dust/lint. It is a little on the firmer side because of the anti-burst material.Bottom Line:Nice color (black). Not a bad price for a chair/workout device. It comes with a pump and workout chart. Pump it up. Let it sit for a day and expand. Then inflate to your preference. You won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend.

Great as Office Chair as well
I’ve read some of the negative comments and can totally empathize with them because I too have bought products that I really wanted and found either something missing or defective, but not this time. In fact, the company sent the ball with two plugs…nothing missing. There is no air leakage thus far and I’ve been using it for both exercising and doubling it as an office chair. Tip: after inflating it, I just rolled it under a table and measured the difference in the height of the table and the ball. My back is stronger because of it and just from the “rolling” around and “manipulating” the ball with my legs while sitting at my desk for about a week, I noticed my daily running time (it’s several miles…not actually sure how long it is, but it is several) decreased by 45 seconds yesterday; hence, the review today.The feel of the material is surprisingly soft and seems very durable as everyone else mentions. It’s not as black as you may think, rather “gun metal”…almost dark-silver; although, I really like the look!About the smell…well, it does smell like plastic…why would it smell like anything else? LOL…some of these comments! Ok ok, I understand that some people, like myself, are very particular of the fresh smell of their surroundings. I am such a clean freak it’s not even funny; so, yes…it has the smell of a freshly manufactured toy-doll but it eventually goes away with time. I left my ball in a well-ventilated room while not using it and that helped. I would not suggest using any chemicals on it to mask the smell because plastic and fragrance chemicals, with experience from the past, usually don’t complement each other. Anyway, the only thing I can say about the complaints about the smell is that they either have very poor ventilation, or live in confined quarters. I have not experienced any problems with the smell and I don’t think you will either.The 75 cm size ball is probably fine for people 5′ 7″ and up. I’m 6′ but my sister is 5′ 7” and has one the same size but by another company. The best thing to do is go to a sporting goods store and ask to sit on the different size balls; it really depends on the exercises you do. Personally, I own a 55cm and this one. My advice is to get both. I like some exercises on one versus the other.The box came very well-packaged and arrived promptly. I would highly recommend this product.

Buyers Beware – Ball Busted Immediately
I am not one to buy a product and at the first sign of a little trouble go and bash the product ASAP, but with this particular stability ball (SB) I am very disappointed. I received the SB today and was excited and inflate the SB. I first read the instructions which said to inflate it to the a height of 29″. I have two end tables that are exactly 28 3/4″ so I took a yard stick and placed it across the two tables to make a home made caliper since the hardware store was out of 30″ calipers. I inflated the ball to right under the recommended 29″ (barely touching the yard stick) with the hand pump(which worked pretty well compared to other hand pumps I have used in the past). I then took out the pump and place the white insert plug into the hole. I did not even insert it fully and the SB busted. I had my face near the ball and was fortunate not to get smacked in the face with it. I am very disappointed in the ball which is advertised and anti-burst. I know The plug also looked like it would protrude from a ball a little bit, which would have been another concern if it would not have busted. There are a lot of good reviews for this ball, so perhaps I got a lemon. I however will be buying a better quality ball from Amazon.I immediately called Amazon about this problem (first time I have ever contacted them with a problem out of about 25 purchases). The customer service tech at Amazon was great. He offered me a refund or an exchange for a new ball. I decided to go with the refund since I am very spectacle of the ball now. This was the first product I have purchased from TKO, my advice to anyone reading this is to spend the extra money and get a better product. At least I bought it from Amazon and did not loose any money from shipping. Thanks Amazon for the great customer service.

Ich bin rundum begeistert. Unter anderem war auch die Farbe für mich ein Grund, mich für diesen Ball zu entscheiden, ich hab es noch nicht bereut und er fühlt sich auch besser an als die üblichen Bälle. Ich benutze in jeden Tag, nicht nur zum Training, sondern auch am PC. Absolut empfehlenswert!!

That’s right. I never even got to use this fitness ball as it burst whilst inflating it. I was using a hand pump and at approximately 69cm the ball just burst. I’m just thankful that it burst whilst inflating it rather than using it, as it could have caused me an injury.

Der Gymnastikball gefällt mir an sich ganz gut.Der Preis stimmt auch, aber die Luft muss relativ häufig wieder erneuert werden. Das Aufpumpen gestaltet sich leider auch nicht ganz einfach. Alles etwas unpraktisch zu handhaben.Evtl. sollte man doch lieber etwas mehr investieren, wenn man sich einen Gymnstikball kauft…

I love this product, is very durable and does exactly what i want if not more (i have abused it). The 75cm I must admit looks huge when i do exercises in my living room (and I am also tall 5’11”). However, this was the size I was used to exercise at my bootcamp and the space there was more open, which didnt make the ball seem as large as i see it in my living room. It is definitely for taller people (when you sit on it your legs shouldnt be on the air!!!) but you can find the right dimensions online. What i also love is that it came with a big poster-size almost exercise chart (which is very helpful) and it even explains the dimensions you should buy depending on your height. Love it!
