Lives up to any expectations for TheraBand products
Bought five different brands of the 9in therapy ball to see which met best my needs. I didn’t even bother to open the rest. I had therapy balls before; this is top tier.Fulled inflated, of course, it meets my needs. But the most important feature, it’s competitive advantage over all other brands is if you have specific needs for a not fully inflated therapy/exercise ball. It gives you resistance, but has enough stretch for exercises that are mostly isometric but require some stretch/give to ensure the right muscles are engaged/activated. It’s anti-slip surface is also textured, making it the best choice for wall exercises.I have never regretted making TheraBrand purchase; this was not different.

Great size for PT
I bought this for home use to continue my PT at home. This ball is amazing. You can inflate it however big you need and it’s works great. I highly recommend it.It’s perfect for between the knees exercises!

Perfect for neck/shoulder exercises
Excellent for neck exercises, great for shoulder strength, fairly good for knee exercises, not useful for exercises where a weighted ball is needed. I’ve been using for 3-4 times weekly for the last 3 months and ball condition and function remain like new.THE PROS: non-slip material works well, it is very easy to inflate fully (even with arthritis/decreased hand strength), to deflate for travel, AND to partially deflate as needed for specific exercises, great for travel with needle stored in pump and travel bag provided, everything needed is in the box!THE CONS: the material is not as thick / rugged as some PT balls and I’m worried that I may accidentally puncture it, the ball does not give quite as much resistance as I’d like, it is very light with no real weight to it and therefore only stays in position if you have pressure applied to it.NOTE: the rubbery new ball smell goes away quickly!PLUS: comes with small poster of detailed instruction on a variety (14 total) of exercises.

Same exact product that they use at my PT
Bought this because it’s the same model they use at my physio. Even though it’s slightly more expensive, it doesn’t have that sticky-ish feel that cheaper balls have.

Rubber is thin and prone to break
Theraband has a well known brand. We purchased this ball for shoulder therapy, where you need a ball with firmness and puncture proof material. The ball is a bit too soft for physical rehab and the thin rubber punctured in jus the third use of the ball. Good product if you want a softer and more pliable ball for light work but suggest Theraband develop another version for rehab that is firmer and puncture proof. The yellow rubber is also prone to get dirty quickly.

The ball is very good quality. But it is a bit difficult to seal it . You need to be very fast or it will go flat. happy with the ball.

I needed a ball for physiotherapy exercises but I didn’t want to spend too much. This is a great ball, easy to fill with air and has held up since. Has not lost any air since. Worth it for the price!
