Saw Palmetto for women…?
I started taking Saw Palmetto because my hair is getting thinner and I read many reviews saying it stopped hair loss. That was 9 months to a year ago. I think it helped some, but it had another unexpected effect. I stopped getting up at night to use the restroom. I also don’t need to use the restroom so often when I drink more than one beer. I thought that was related to some other health issues I have, I didn’t make any connection between that and the Saw Palmetto until I ran out about 3-4 weeks ago and didn’t reorder right away. Suddenly I was up at night again and going twice for every beer I drank. Well. Once I realized what it was doing for me I reordered right away, and those symptoms resolved, again.I knew men with urinary issues use it and it relieves symptoms of enlarged prostate. Since I have no prostate I did an internet search on the subject. Nobody (trustworthy) says anything specifically about Saw Palmetto and women’s urinary issues, but WebMD says “it seems to shrink the lining that puts pressure on the tubes that carry urine” I guess that could apply for women as well as men. Anyway, it’s good enough for me.I gave 4 stars because I would like them to make the dose higher per soft gel. They are very small, I have to take several. I actually used another brands drops before and it was more concentrated, I’ll finish this bottle before I decide whether or not to go back to that.

Best Ever!!!
This stuff is amazing. I was taking some really useless “saw palmetto” from of one of the big online vitamin vendors (it wasn’t vitacost – they’re good) and getting up to pee 5 times a night. I took one of these pills when I got them and slept through the night, without getting up once! And I’ve been sleeping through ever since. Best quality ever! This is one of the only ones I found that had saw palmetto, pumpkin seed extract, and pygeum. I’m really happy I tried it.

Works for me
After trying other products, in desperation I found Swanson’s Saw Palmetto Combo. I am a 77 year old male, who was constantly getting up 5 or 6 times a night for relieve my self. With this product, I get up either one or two times a night. Therefore, in the mornings, I am more rested.I take two soft gels about 7 PM with some Greek Yogurt.
