I’ve used Swanson products for a number of years and find their products to generally be high quality. This is the Swanson Milk Thistle Liquid Extract and it’s no exception. It’s high quality.The taste isn’t great, but with liquid Milk Thistle, I’ve not tasted any that are particularly good tasting. It’s not horrible at all and I recommend putting it in water, juice etc.I would put the Swanson Liquid Milk Thistle up against any other Milk Thistle. It’s quality stuff, the price is definitely fair and I would recommend this to anyone.

Received & needed very quickly
Received the Milk Thistle, THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH for the fast delivery. I have an older cat that is starting to fail and other than the usual things to try to extend their life this was recommended by my vet. So it meant a great deal to me. Milk thistle & estrogen
I discovered phyto-oestrogenic properties may be a cause of postmenopausal bleeding, which happened to me 3 weeks after starting this product. Extracts from milk thistle plant can act like estrogen. I had to discontinue.

they claim it’s sugar free, but it’s extremely sweet. It does not even say what type of sweetener they put in it.
