Good Quality Capsules
I’ve tried several different berberine supplements and this one is definitely a good one. I take it because I’ve always heard it helps with blood sugar levels and diabetes runs in my family. This supplement worked as I expected it to and the ceylon cinnamon in it was definitely a plus because it supposedly helps with blood sugar levels as well. I actually prefer gummies to pills because I struggle a little to take pills, but I was able to do these capsules fairly well. They seemed high quality and I think they’re a pretty good value at the retail because you get 120 capsules. I’d definitely get this brand again.

Amazon description says this has 30:1 Super Extract for 43,000mg. Bottle indicates just 1,200 mg per two capsules Berberine. False advertising. Tried to return but Amazon says it’s not eligible to return.My usual berberine supplement was not available so tried this one. Recommend you look for another more honest supplier.

Berberine with Ceylon Cinnamon & Bitter Gourd that is GMP Certified from India not US FDA
The more I learn about Berberine, the more I like it. Having cinnamon and bitter gourd added to it is an excellent combo especially for glucose control. I was somewhat hesitant to get any supplement from India. I normally prefer US companies since they may be subjected to lawsuits and government fines if they mess up.But this product is actually made by Arizone International LLP, and that company is a valid GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certified company. However, on further digging I discovered that the US FDA GMP certification is different form India FSSAI certification. So while StayAlive did state factually that they were GMP certified, they did not state that the certification was via India version of FDA, otherwise known as FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India). Most buyers of supplements in America would have assumed that the certification came from FDA.So the good news is that the company does manufacture its supplements in a facility that comply with Indian’s quality standards. However, FSSAI standards are not as comprehensive and stringent as the FDA.I rate this four stars for the ingredients and take one star off for the misleading info on GMP certification.

With supplements it’s really hard to know if they’re working or not for sure. I’ve been using Berberine since August of last year and it seems to have been helping me lose weight. Same workout and activity for the most part and same diet but seems like I was taking off a lot more weight when using it.I got a chance to try this which has higher potency (I was buying it in bulk before). I like the fact I can take capsules b/c I can keep a few in my bag and take them before eating if I am not at home. The capsules dissolve quickly which is very nice, I’ve had a few that didn’t dissolve well, kept ‘coming up’ and berberine is bitter and not something you want to taste. No issues at all with these, they dissolve quickly, thoroughly and no aftertaste or digestive issues.So I can’t say for sure it’s only the berberine, but as I mentioned before, my workout schedule and diet have been pretty steady for a while now. At the end of the first week I had a few people asking me if I lost weight and i could tell my clothes were fitting differently. By the next week I could see some notable differences in my face and clothes felt much different. I was down a full 8 lbs. By the next week i had lost another three pounds. I realized I wasn’t snacking nearly as much and was eating a bit less with each meal, feeling satiated a lot quicker. Can I say for 100% certain it’s the berberine, this berberine? No, I can’t. But i definitely think it’s a big part of it. If you want to take Berberine, you won’t be disappointed with these and I can’t say how much it’ll help you if at all, but it really seems like it’s helped me.
