Back to myself again, delighted and a little surprised
I’ll start with I do not have any diagnosed thyroid issue. Everything seems to be fine in that regard. However, I’m a 42 year old perimenopausal woman, with all of this hormonal transitioning happening about 10 years earlier than average. In the meantime I have a full time job, teenagers, and life happening fast. It has been a *rough* few years and I’ve been doing my best to mitigate the symptoms from the transition as they come. What works in early perimenopause stops working for the middle stages. What really helps for a year may not work the next, and you may get one thing figured out, only to have some other thing shift. I’m SO looking forward to leveling out on the other side and being a sassy old woman living life calm and with a healthy dose of idgaf.In the meantime, Thrive has been delightfully and surprisingly helpful addition to my symptom mitigation routine for what I’d say is the later stages of perimenopause, after some serious estrogen dropping. The stage where you’re no longer going through waves of energy, you’re just low energy. Also, the stage when the middle of yourself becomes thicker even though you SWEAR you’re not doing anything different, (and you’re not.) Thrive has been a game changer for me, bringing me back to a much more consistent energy pattern over the day. I feel much more like myself.Also – I noticed that when estrogen really started dropping I experienced heart palpitations, felt mostly at night. Thrive seems to stop them, I don’t know why. Who the heck knows how one things affects the other when your body is coming off a 30 year estrogen dependency. Good lawrd. Anyway, 3 days into Thrive I noticed they were pretty much gone. Being the scientist I am, I stopped it to test it, within 3 days they were back. So, that’s also a nice bonus.I started this journey 4-5 years go with taking chaste berry. That did the trick at the time. Then all sorts of adjustments in the middle to handle other changes as they came. I’m now down to only Thrive, and progesterone and estriol cream (Seravita, purchased on Amazon as well) – and I’m actually feeling more level than I have in the last 5 years. I think this may carry me through it. Woot!PS, Also – forgot to address the taste concern I see here and there in the reviews. I don’t mind them whatsoever. They taste a little earthy, maybe a little like alfalfa/hay, with a slight hint of orange. And I forgot to say I landed on Thrive after some research on how to support the particular hormones that were off for me. Thrive had all the right stuff.

I bought these a few weeks ago. So far, I’ve only taken one a day rather the recommended two because I don’t generally eat breakfast. Even with just the one, I can’t believe the difference it’s made! For years I’ve suffered with chronic fatigue. I was constantly sluggish, forgetful, and unfocused. I run my own business from home so things can get pretty hectic and the hours can get pretty long. Some nights I’m operating on only three hours of sleep, and some days, no sleep at all. My eyes will be shutting as I’m at the computer. Now, I’m not only getting better sleep, leading to more refreshed mornings, but on the nights when I only get a few hours’ sleep, I’m STILL waking up feeling great (a little tired, but nothing a cup of coffee doesn’t cure, as opposed to the way it used to be where I had ten alarms going off for two hours.) I’m also more focused leading to more work being done at a quicker pace, and I finally have the energy to do projects I’ve been putting off around the house. I would give this TEN stars if I could. I’m going to start having a small breakfast so I can take two capsules because if one makes me feel this good, I can’t imagine how much I’ll be zooming around with two. (For those concerned with taking it on an empty stomach, I haven’t had a problem with just the one, but if I don’t drink a bottle of water with it, I do get a slight headache. But once I drink the water, it goes away.) THANK YOU for changing my life with this!!! I thought I was destined to live as a sloth before I found this!
