Methyl-free: Formulated without methylcobalamin or methylfolate to support those sensitive to methylated nutrients, and without calcium, vitamin C, magnesium, choline, or iron
Free from: Eggs, fish, gluten, GMO, milk, peanuts, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, wheat, artificial colors, artificial flavors, and artificial preservatives
Marked for freshness: Quality matters at Seeking Health. That’s why we conduct stability testing for all our products. Because testing can take up to 2 years, it’s not always possible to mark newer releases with an expiration date. That’s why we mark some items with the date they were made on, or MFG; so you know you’re getting the freshest product possible
Consistent quality: At Seeking Health, every ingredient is carefully sourced, researched, and tested. Each meets strict specifications for manufacturing and quality standards before any ingredient is allowed for use

MFG date isn’t an expiration date.
This is a great multivitamin and gives me so much energy! It’s easy on the stomach and I love that it’s one pill vs 2-3. Also, I’ve seen some reviews saying their bottle is expired. The MFG date on the bottom of the bottle is the manufacturer date not expiration. I love all of seeking health’s vitamins!

No methylcobalamin B12, nor iron, magnesium or potassium
This is the only multivitamin that I could find with No Methylcobalamin B12, which causes problems in our family with anxiety and insomnia, but instead it has hydroxocobalamin and adenocobalamin as B12. It was not easy to find. I just wished that the search that been easier but finally I found it. It also has no iron either which we needed for Celiac with iron deficiency but again it does not have that terrible methylcobalamin, and we add another iron supplement. It has some other minerals (iodine, zinc, selenium, chromium, which are good for thyroid health, and also molybdenum, essential for removing toxins particularly from the metabolism of sulfur containing amino acids ) but it has no magnesium nor potassium. The price seems reasonable. It comes in a gelcap and it has no flavor. Seeking Health is a good brand for those of us with gluten and dairy allergies or sensitivities, and free of other allergens (nuts, eggs, peanuts, shellfish), that we use for other supplements as well.

Quality, active form of B-vitamins with extra methyl group. Great blend for overmethylators
Great product for overmethylators. The minus one means it contains no excess methyl groups, which for some people can rev up an already too high-in-methyl-groups system, leading to reactive-oxygen species (think free radicals) and further inflammation and various worsened symptoms. It uses the active forms of Bs, however, which are readily bioavailable without using up other nutrients to metabolize. Also has nice combination of trace minerals to help detoxify and support all our body’s systems. For those who already know they need the methyl group support (Undermethylators; most but not all people with one or more of the MTHFR gene mutations, often people with OCD, perfectionism, seasonal affective disorder, seasonal allergies, low thyroid, premenstrual issues, or BEST, those who have tested their methylation via blood work), might want to go with a methylated product, such as the regular Seeking Health Otimal multivitamin (not the minus one).

Made my joints and muscles ache and a headache
I switched from my methylated B12 and folate multi to this for just 2 days but was hurting in my knees, elbows and leg/hip muscles, had a minor headache and mood was a little off, which is all abnormal for me. I have MTHFR, COMT, VDR, and several other double variants + more single variants and this was recommended. I must have something that doesn’t let me metabolize this well because I’ve had these symptoms when I had serotonin syndrome before. These symptoms are normally associated with too many methyl donors like with my regular multi but I switched back to it and the symptoms went away.

Toxic levels of B6
This multivitamin contains 20 mg of vitamin B6, which is dangerously close to 24 mg, the minimum value reported in Megavitamin-B6 syndrome, a severe overdose condition characterized by nerve damage. Getting a few extra mg of Vitamin B6 is incredibly easy to do, especially if you eat foods containing enriched flour, consume energy drinks, or take any other supplements that contain Vitamin B6. The amount of Vitamin B6 in this supplement exceeds the tolerable upper limit in some countries, but for some reason the US has a limit of twice the amount of the country with the 2nd highest limit. It is a common misconception that water-soluble vitamins just get urinated out if consumed in excess. Vitamin B6 accumulates in the body with a half-life of around 30 days. Excess vitamin B6 binds to proteins in various tissues and is stored in muscle, plasma, red blood cells, and the liver. The main symptom of Megavitamin-B6 syndrome is peripheral sensory neuropathy (numbness/burning/pins-and-needles in limbs). Other symptoms include unsteady gait, incoordination, involuntary muscle movements, an electrical sensation in the spine or limbs (Lhermitte sign), photosensitivity, impaired skin sensation, numbness around mouth, nausea, heartburn, skin lesions, cognitive deficit, anxiety, depression, agitation, or psychosis.I felt fine when I first started taking this supplement, but I have since developed extreme nausea/heartburn, muscle cramps/spasms, hand numbness, eye twitching, sciatica, light sensitivity, mouth numbness, migraines, and unsteady gait resulting in multiple injuries. I am glad it was caught before my symptoms got even worse. This is a dangerous product that I do not recommend to anyone.
