Highly Effective Back Roller At a High (But Justifiable) Price.
I’ve tried an array of foam rollers over the years, and this back roller has proven to be one of the most effective. It is not only comparable to the well-known Chirp wheels but also comes at a slightly more reasonable price, which makes it an excellent value for anyone looking to enhance their recovery toolkit. While I personally don’t find much use for the inner cork portion, my partner has found it to be incredibly beneficial. She uses it regularly to target deeper, more specific areas that other rollers seem to miss. This versatility in usage between the two components of the roller allows for a more tailored approach to muscle relaxation and recovery, making it suitable for a wide range of needs and preferences. The overall design of this back roller is what sets it apart. It effectively contours to the spine, offering substantial relief and support where it’s needed most. This targeted support helps alleviate back pain and improves mobility more significantly than any other foam roller I’ve owned. Its sturdy construction ensures durability, allowing for consistent performance over time.In summary, whether you’re looking for comprehensive back support or focused muscle relief, this back roller is a superb choice. It’s well-designed, priced reasonably, and more effective than traditional foam rollers, providing noticeable benefits that justify the investment. For those considering a reliable and versatile back roller, this one certainly merits strong consideration.

The cork portion alone is too firm for me. Cork core tends to pop out a bit when I use the roller.
I own a number of rollers, and their great for relieving knots and general back pain. I use a couple of the larger rollers after every exercise session, and since I’ve been using them I seem to have avoided most long term muscle aches. I also own a couple smaller rollers that I use to address specific knots and pains that the larger rollers can’t dig into. Each type of roller seems to have its own niche, so I’m always interested in adding another roller to my collection. This roller looked interesting. The roller consists of a cork core surrounded by foam padding. The first thing I noticed that both the padding and cork core have a spinal groove to keep the spine from being impacted. I used the roller to get at a knot on the right side of my lower back that both of my larger rollers had missed. I wondered if rolling on the cork core directly would offer even more relieve. The core didn’t come out of the padded cover easily, but after quite a struggle, with a little assistance from a yoga stick; I managed to get it out. However, the cork was too hard for me to roll on and I gave up on using it alone. I replaced the cork in its padding, and proceeded to roll from lower back to upper back. The roller felt pretty good and I felt it releasing a couple knots between my shoulder blades. Still, something felt off. I examined the roller and saw that the cork had slipped about 1” out of the padded cover. I poked it back in, but the same thing happened several more times as I worked my back. Here are my conclusions: The roller did address a couple knots that my larger rollers hadn’t got at. The product page does show the cork portion as being usable without the padded cover. I do use and like firm rollers but the cork by itself was too hard for me too tolerate. I don’t know if the inch of cork that kept popping out of the carver hurt its physical effectiveness, but certainly knowing that it was happening, created some mental tension.

Great Back Roller and Neck Relaxer
This roller is made out of Portuguese Cork and is covered with pliable Ethylene Vinyl Acetate. The cover has a slight “give” with pressure, which provides more comfort to your spine. It is free of any smells. I would not recommend removing the cover, since it all fits together perfectly and you might not be able to put it back as snugly. The 6″ wheel is actually 5 1/2″ high, and 5″ wide. It fits perfectly under the neck, to support the neck’s natural C-curve. It can also be used to roll your spine over it. See photo of the legal disclaimer warnings. It is recommended you start slow with the roller and don’t overdo it. At first, I spent about 2 minutes on the roller, and found it to be easy to use and comfortable. I stopped at different points to let my back relax and let go, and then relaxed with it under my neck. Highly recommended.

    Kind of uncomfortable.
I have lots of foam rollers. This one is a bit too stiff for me. There’s very little (if any) give when laying on it. It does have a nice channel for your spine to go in, but it’s not very comfortable rolling on it.

    Firm and works well
As a massage therapist, I have used and recommended foam rollers for years. I have not used one like this before. I am used to the longer rollers that encompass more surface area. This roller is quite firm and unforgiving. I would not recommend using this roller if you are new to foam rolling or are sensitive. I use this roller after I warm up on a much softer roller. As I said, it is firm and unforgiving compared to a typical roller. I do like this roller, but it is just not for everyone, in my opinion.Removing the cork roller from inside the foam roller is a pain. I did it once to try out the cork roller alone. Nope, I have no need to do that again.

    Very relieving
I use this roller about 2-3 times a week to help with mid back discomfort. I like that it gets deep since you use your own body weight. It’s a little awkward to get set up, but once I get it just right I’m feeling more loose and relaxed within a few minutes.
