    Spine Decompression & Expansion!
I am a back therapy tool junkie; I have a bunch of things that I leverage from time-to-time to manage the usual aches and pains associated with exercise and aging (I’m 49). I have the yoga tune up balls in various sizes and highly recommend those, and I also have a body roller, usually works well too. I also have the back expander stretch and for me this 10 inch roller works way better to expand the back, reverse forward head/chest posture and cracks your back in a safe way. You have to be careful using this like anything else, be smart about it. Go slowly and hold positions where you feel relief. I started using this in the AM and PM (only a few minutes each session) before bed and am noticing a difference in my upper back tension.

“This might be the best back ‘thing’ you’ve purchased” – My Wife
I’ve been buying back pain reliving “things” for the past 5 years. I have a few boxes full of them…mostly trash…but I’m willing to try anything that may solve the back pain issue me and my wife suffer from. Stress and 8 hours at a desk can really mess up your back.So I got this and it’s probably been the best thing we’ve bought for back pain.We do use this every day…it doesn’t feel like it would ever break or even flex when used by either of us. But given that I did see photos of a broken one on here, I can say that this thing works so well that if it ever broke, I would just buy another.I think the channel for your spine is key here…I couldn’t imagine using it without that channel. It allows the wheel to really put pressure on the areas to the left and right of your spine. This means it just happens to really focus its magic between the shoulder blades and the spine (my problem area) AND the two areas on the lower back between the spine and just above the hips (my wife’s problem area). It’s thick and does look like they have revised it to be more sturdy based what I received and some of the photos for other reviews. Mine seems to have filled in top holes. I also always keep the small one inside the big one when I’m not using it, I think this makes it more sturdy. The small one is also great…but we pretty much only use it for our neck/head. Yeah…the weird video it came with shows how to use it and the small one actually hits these areas on the back of your head that seems to always be an area of tension.Anyway…I just wanted to share my experience…hope someone finds this useful.

    Strong but heavy
I have had a chirp wheel for several years and have broken quite a few of them in trying to crack my back. This one is so much stronger than a chirp wheel, which I really am happy about. However, I will keep my chirp because it’s so much lighter and therefore will be my air travel one.Because these are so strong, there’s no give to them like chirp. It takes some getting used to, but it has definitely become my go-to wheel over the Chirp. The one recommendation for the ball is to add a string to it, so that I can pull it up or down behind me.

    Functional. But comfortable?
I bought these and I’ve had them for about 2 weeks or so now. I own the Chirp Wheels Plexus Plus wheels too. In comparison, the chirp wheels are much more comfortable. They have a nice foam wrapped around the wheel. These cork wheels are not comfortable. They hurt a lot when you roll on them at first. It only took about 3 days for my back to get used to it. Don’t get me wrong, they did adjust my spine and helped relieve actual internal backpain. So which do I recommend buying? These cork wheels. The chirp wheels were advertised as being able to hold up to 300 or 500 pounds. (I can’t remember) I am under 200 pounds and they cracked. I had a replacement from chirp but that one lasted less time than the first before it cracked. The cork wheels have a great, solid build that I know will keep strong for at least a year. Easily. So for my money’s worth, I would choose these cork wheels every time. I think something they can do to improve is to adopt the idea of putting a thin layer of foam around the wheel for more comfort. Don’t get me wrong, they will not keep hurting after a week of use. I roll on mine every day now and it doesn’t bother me anymore. All in all, I recommend these wheels, they alleviate my back pain and I bring the small one into work, in the car, and I use it at home too. It’s a lifesaver.

The best thing for back pain
I’ve never liked foam rolling so I didn’t expect to like this, but well, when you have chronic back pain, you’ll try everything eventually.Guys.I haven’t had back pain since I bought this 3 months ago.I use it every day. At first it was really intense… The first time I tried it, my back cracked IMMEDIATELY and deeply. As I rolled it was really intense and I stopped after 5-10 sec. Same thing the next day, maybe 10-15 sec. Same thing the next day… Now I’ll use it for 5 – 10 minutes at a time to roll out my muscles and crack my back. I’ve experimented with some yoga poses on it too, like hip flexor openers, which are really nice but very challenging for me right now.My husband had the same story. First time he tried it, it was too strong and he didn’t like it. But a couple weeks later I wasn’t home and he reaaaally needed to crack his back. So he tried it again, and now he’s addicted like me.As far as sturdiness goes, I can’t imagine this breaking. We’ve put ~250lbs on it with no cracking. If it does eventually break, I’ll buy a replacement immediately.

Good product for some I’m sure …
Good quality / solid but unfortunately too painful for me to use. Others have had good luck and relief using it though – to each his/her own.

Guys, it seems like some kind of miracle. I haven’t been pain free for at least 3 years. Can’t stress enough how amazing this is. Give it a try!
