From the brand
Rip Toned was founded in 2013 when I started noticing people training hard but being held back by avoidable obstacles: lack of proper support, low-quality gear, and nagging injuries. I realized I could create something better. Our team focuses daily on what gear best supports the needs of “you,” the lifter doing the work in the gym.
We so appreciate your support,
Mark Pasay

Does the trick!
Hurt my wrist/arm and trouble lifting heavy over my head. Ortho says “tennis elbow”. I use these on push days and it really stabilizes the wrist and keeps the pain down to a minimum. Added support is clutch.

Patriotic Wrist Wraps
Good quality wrist wraps. Wrists have never felt better while I’m doing bench press. Velcro lasts a long time and hasn’t had any problem. Feel super patriotic while I’m throwing up weight.

Purchased these for my son who just got into weight lifting and he loves them.
Great sturdy wrist support when bench pressing or doing triceps. My son appreciates the extra support and adjustability of these bands. They were a bit stiff for me but I am used to using ones that are far more giving. They do provide a feel of security and look cool too.

Game-Changer for Weightlifting: Stiff Wrist Wraps That Deliver
When you’re lifting, the last thing you want is for the limiting factor to be something other than the muscle you’re working on. It’s incredibly frustrating to be mid-set, still feeling strong, only to have your grip or wrists give out before your target muscle does. That’s where these wrist wraps come in.I’ve been using a softer pair for a while and decided to upgrade to the stiff version this time—and wow, what a difference! The support they provide allows me to fully focus on the lift without worrying about my grip strength holding me back. I now use these wraps for every set, every workout, and they’ve become a non-negotiable part of my gym routine. That said, the stiffer material does come with some trade-offs. If they’re wrapped too tightly, you may feel slight discomfort or restricted blood flow during certain movements, but releasing the pressure between sets solves that easily. The quality is excellent—thick, sturdy, and clearly built to last. Plus, I love the color I chose; it adds a bit of style to function. While they might seem pricey for such a simple product, their durability and the advantage they provide make them well worth it.If you’re serious about lifting and tired of grip strength being the weak link in your workouts, these wrist wraps are a fantastic investment. I’ll also be reviewing some wrist straps soon, but for now, these wraps are a total game-changer!

Wrist Pain Relief
I was having pain in my wrist during pressing movements in the Gym. I tried different hand positions on bar.etc but the pain was always there…frustrating. I ordered these based off other reviews hoping they would allow me to bench..etc without my Workout being cut short due to wrist pain.I ordered the stiff version and l am glad I did, they feel great and offer excellent support. They appear very well made and I have confidence they will hold up to many Gym sessions. I especially like that I have been able to focus on the muscle being worked instead of my wrist hurting. I have been putting these on over a long sleeve shirt and workout gloves without issue. It is important not to overtighten them or you will be a little uncomfortable in them. They adjust quickly and easily by pulling/tightening and attaching via Velcro. It takes only a minute or two to put them on, very little effort. I just finished using these tonight in the Gym and felt I owed the company a review given that it has improved my workout experience. On top of the product working as advertised, Rip Toned sent info via email verifying my satisfaction, a pdf on how to get the most out of their product along with workout routine examples. I would definitely purchase these again without hesitation. I was very impressed with Rip Toned, they went the extra mile on this transaction.

Can’t complain
Whether I need these or not is a separate question. The product itself is well made and provides support. How much more weight I can overhead press with these on is a matter for debate, but I’m guessing it’s waaay more than a few ounces.

Tried to use it for every day use and baby care, but didn’t suit my needs.
To prevent further wrist pain caring for my baby, I went on a hunt to find a brace/splint for my wrist and thumb. Currently I have minimal-moderate pain and am trying to take preventative measures. These are the ones I tried:Vive Carpal Tunnel Wrist Brace- Though it felt comfortable and provided maximal support, my hand began to get hot then itchy within 5-10 minutes of wearing it and just doing some light typing and chores. I returned this item.Rip Toned wrist brace- It’s advertised to be used for weightlifting and bodyweight training and I think it’s probably best for just that. I wanted to see if I could use it as a wrist brace while doing things around the house and lifting/holding the baby as well as use it to workout in the future, but I didn’t like the thumb loop which sometimes felt like it pulled my thumb back which I think would make texting/mommy thumb worse, but if wearing without the thumb loop, the wrist support would slide down around and not stay around the wrist. I returned this item.Wal-Mart and CVS sold several different types of wrist and/or thumb braces and I was able to try it on in store. I have only worn them a few days, but this is my review of them.FUTURO Performance Comfort Wrist Support, Adjustable- This was my favorite as a minimal-moderate support. Lightweight and not hot nor itchy for general use around the house and to wear while caring for my baby as there were no hard parts and only 1 velcro piece which didn’t get stuck to anything.FUTURO™ Compression Stabilizing Wrist Brace- This one was also comfortable, but provided more support than the Performance Comfort as it has a rigid support. however, it’s more expensive and a bit more inhibiting but I’m keeping it for now in case I need more wrist support when baby gets heavier.Mueller Thumb Stabilizer- This provides support in thumb and wrist which is nice, but since it has 3 velcro straps, it takes a little longer to take on/off when i want to wash my hands and some of the velcro would get stuck to baby’s swaddle or bib. I was able to still pick up and hold baby with the thumb stabilizer, but I found that I would mistype on the keyboard or I would make compensations by lifting my arm up slightly to avoid hitting other keys.

Today’s date is May 29 2021Around April 2 2021 I got a ganglion cyst on my left wrist. It was a volar cyst(palm side), not dorsal cyst(knuckle side).Prior to getting the cyst, I had a lot of pain in both wrists in March 2021 while doing dips with a weighted vest. I guess looking back, my wrists couldn’t handle my body weight and weighted vest..I shouldn’t of put so much weight in the vest..Never had problems before.Anyways, when I got my cyst in April, I was screwed.. No more dips for me..I tried knuckle pushups and had no problem doing them, however I felt like I was only hitting 20% of my chest compared to dips..I couldn’t do flat handed push ups cause of cyst..I had to get back to dips.I got these straps for my wrist and I’m happy to say I’m back to doing dips.. Remember, I still have a ganglion cyst on my left wrist that hurts sometimes when not in use..However, when I wrap my wrist/ganglion tightly, I feel nothing and can do dips..I am not using a weighted vest for the time being. The cool thing is when I’m done doing the dip/workout and take off the wrist straps, my wrists feel fine for the whole day..No pain from the workout.I was so impressed with these straps that I purchased another 2 sets. One set I would leave in the car in case I have to lift anything heavy and the other set as a back up for working out..The quality looks good(nothing to compare too). I’m not sure how long the Velcro will last….I might buy a couple more cause everything I like/buy gets discontinued in the future..My life story. As for the ganglion cyst,..I’ve read where people have been taking vitamin D3/ K2 to get rid of it..Also, dry fasting might work…It is well known where people smash the cyst with books(known as bible bumps)..The ones they smash that I have seen are the dorsal kind, not volar type that I have…….Also, Ive read where doctors/ clinics aspirate the dorsal cyst, which drains it and unfortunately comes back sometimes….However, I came across a clinic where they will aspirate a volar cyst..The reason no one wants to touch them is cause of the arteries in the wrist on the palm side…So, there are some options for you to get rid of your ganglion, however I would still wear these straps even after the fact.
