Makes great yogurt!
Used this inulin for Reuteri yogurt and it turned out perfect on my first try (with instapot in photo). So happy I’ll never buy yogurt again! I am experimenting with other strains like boulardii also. I didn’t want chicory based inulin because I have had allergies to chicory coffee. This artichoke inulin seems to work fine for fermenting dairy with varied probiotics. It’s been fun making high quality food that helps gut health – without the added preservatives. Items arrived quickly and in tact.

Great for L Reuteri cultures
Fabulous! I’ve just begun making L Reuteri in my ultimate yogurt maker, and even my 1st results turned out great!! I DO “preheat” my half and half in a large saucepan til it begins steaming a wee, or one sees bubbles around the edges, then cooling the saucepan milk in a cold water bath to tepid Temps. THEN I add a wee milk to L reuteri culture in a separate bowl and add this inluin on top and stir to dissolve, then add rest of milk, stir and pop into yogurt maker!! Yay!! Grand results!!

Worked within a day! Tastes great
I got this because I have to take a medication that is constipating. I’m not sure what I expected flavor wise, but this has a really nice sweet taste. It dissolves great in water or tea or milk. I’ve been more regular since adding it into my routine and I’ve been using it twice a day with no other changes to my diet or supplements. At this point I would highly recommend it.

Tastes ok, somewhat sweet, and seems to work
I used this to help with hunger cravings while fasting. I heard that if you keep your gut biome happy, then your hunger cravings may lessen. Seemed to work for me (possible placebo effect). My bowel movements seemed to be better, and more consistent without strain. Not 100% sure if my hunger craving went down, but it helped me believe that they did, and helped me get through another day of fasting. Very difficult to mix…will immediately clump up, especially with very cold water. Dissolved easier in room temperature water or tea. Very messy when using the scoop. tends to be very sticky if you get it on your hands…may try pill or capsule form next time. I will continue to use this product as I do think it is helping my gut biome.

Worked great for fermenting
Using this for making Dr. William Davis’, of Wheat Belly and Super Gut fame, high-performance “progurt”. Mix this with choice of recommended probiotic and add to dairy – I love Trader Joe’s half and half. The inulin, along with the milk sugars, feeds the probiotic. This inulin has been consistently successful. One caveat: there are multiple factors that affect yogurt making. Learn about it before you start, and by all means, do start 🙂

Perfect w/ First Use
I made the L. Reuteri fermented Dairy Superfood — (because you are not supposed to call it “yogurt”) — using this prebiotic powder and it worked perfectly!I tweaked the recipe by adding the contents of (5) VitaMatic B. Longum probiotic capsules and (2) Seed probiotic (inner) capsules to (10) crushed BioGaia Gastrus Gut Health Probiotic tablets.I made a slurry (with the above) using a splash of room temperature half & half (grass-fed), along with 2 tablespoons of the Pure Organic Inulin Powder Fiber. I then mixed the slurry into the rest of the half & half (about 36 ounces), and then placed the contents into my yogurt maker at 100 degrees for 36 hours (afterwards it sat in the refrigerator for about 8 hours). It came out super thick, with no separation, very creamy, and a very mild taste (as tangy yogurt goes…) — delicious!I do recommend the purchase of this product – and trying the L. Reuteri Fermented Dairy Superfood recipe.
