A High-Quality Product!
I was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia in 2010 and took an oral targeted chemotherapy medication for the next four years. I reached a deep molecular response, which means the leukemia was virtually undetectable in my blood tests. My oncologist allowed me to go off the medication completely, much to my surprise. I get tested every three months (it’s been 2 years now) and over last spring and summer, my numbers started to rise. I started taking Pure Encapsulations M/R/S Mushroom Formula because my acupuncturist told me it’s good for the blood and immune system, and a month after I got tested and the CML was undetectable again. Coincidence? Perhaps. But I do know that I feel a lot stronger when I’m taking these pills and I have not gotten colds because my immune function is stable and strong. I just had another blood test (three months later) and it is again, undetectable. I think this is a high-quality product and I will continue to take it.

So far no Covid
I bought these supplements after reading a blog on Dr. Weil’s website on questions people hadabout the best supplements to take to boost the immune system against Covid. An E.R. doctor who treats Covid patients mentioned he takes these and an Elderberry supplement and hopes for the best each day. He has not been sick yet. I researched the Pure Encapsulations website and they list clinical protocols for healthcare professionals. I was impressed that holistic healthcare professionals use this for their patients. I started taking 1 a night July 4th to the present and have to say, I have not been sick once, even with my normal, seasonal allergies. I’ve had to travel to Georgia and Arizona in the last two months and have not been sick. Of course I took other precautions like wearing a mask and using cleaning wipes on the plane. If you research the medicinal mushrooms used in this supplement (Reishi, Maitake and Shitake), you’ll see that they are used for building the immune system among other benefits. I’m a believer!

I suppose it’s harmless, as I have not experienced anything negative from taking this daily. I also can’t say I feel better or have noticed anything else about it. Perhaps it is working in ways I can’t feel but how would I know one way or another? Quite expensive guesswork.
