UPDATE: My second order the capsules were a different color!
UPDATE:I reached out to NutriONN through email about the difference on color. The response I received from them: “Yes, one of our new batches of Pumpkin Seed oil is much darker than usual. I assure you the quality of the oil is superb. Pumpkin seed oil can vary in color from lot to lot, depending on the time of year the pumpkins were harvested, the location and type.Since we do not process our pumpkin seed oil at all, the color is what the pumpkins give us. We do not believe in adding color or bleach to our product just to make the color of the oil look the same.”I purchased the lighter colored Pumpin Seed Oil Capsules in Nov 2024 (the lighter colored capsules in photo) then I re-ordered what I thought would be the same until I opened the bottle to capsules that are red!I don’t know if the manufacturer placed the wrong capsules in the bottles or not.** Since they responded as to why there color was different; I changed my review from 1 star to 5 stars. ** I have had thinning of hair since being prescribed Prednisone so I read in medical journals that Pumpkin Seed Oil Capsules can help with hair growth, cholesterol, joint pain, etc I had to try it. Taking this since Nov 25 my hair has started to return and my joint pain has gotten better. So, I’m glad the color of the capsules did not change the quality of the product.

Supplements are confusing
Whatever you are taking a supplement for, there’s not always proof that’s it’s doing what you want.Same with pumpkin seed oil. It’s touted to help with circulation and blood flow, as well as certain prostate issues. After taking as directed for a couple months, I can’t say if it has helped me, but I’ve not had any negative side effects.However, at times I do feel like I have a bit more energy, which could be due to improved circulation, but also could be because I got a good nights rest. So results are somewhat mixed.

Did not work for my OAB
I’ve been using this seed oil for about 5 months now. Initially, I ordered it with high hopes of some OAB relief and also help with my high Cholesterol. For the last several years I’ve been on prescribed medication for OAB, which was diagnosed before my son was born and now become much harder to treat after having a child -naturally.I was reading the ingredients on a product for OAB in a store a while back and it listed Pumpkin Seed Oil as the main ingredient – so I did some online research and found Pumpkin Seed Oil great for OAB and Cholesterol.For some, this might be right, but for me, it hasn’t been so. My Cholesterol is still high, even though I am on a statin and controlled diet – and my OAB, is still the same (only controlled through prescription medicine). I really wish I could say that while using Pumpkin Seed Oil my nightly need to get up and pee several times has gone but that too, sadly hasn’t stopped.Well, my search for OAB control without prescription medication continues…

I finally purchased some pumpkin seed oil after a friend’s suggesting it for bladder issues. I purchased these as they were highly rated.I’ve only been taking them for FIVE DAYS. One a day.What I have experienced in JUST FIVE DAYS:Didn’t have to get up once during the night to go to the bathroom;Daily urgency not so urgent;Knee/back/hip/shoulder pain GREATLY diminished;More positive outlook/mood.Last night I took one and I noticed about 20-30 minutes later, my shoulder didn’t hurt when I lifted it. It was better than taking an advil. I’m still recovering from a frozen shoulder. It is still painful to raise my right arm and I have yet to reach full range of motion. However, last night I was able to raise it with no pain and range of motion was increased.I fell off my vitamin wagon a couple months ago and keep saying I’m going to get back. So I have no residual supplements in my system and I only took the pumpkin oil soft gels.I hope to update in a few months if there are improvements in hair growth.Two Month update(Nov24)-Definate improvements in: mood,Joint pain,Bladder controlAndHair loss.Prior to taking the pumpkin seed oil I could run my fingers through my hair and 15-20 hairs would fall out. Just received so don’t know if it really works.. but looks authentic. The oil capsules are dark brown and not golden. Because I read somewhere that golden pumpkin seed oil is fake and it should be darker.
