The product arrived in excellent condition. The price was more competitive compared to other sellers. However, the packaging protection was insufficient, as it only consisted of paper cushioning provided by Amazon. The product performed exceptionally well during daily field tests. My morning fatigue has significantly improved. Consuming alcohol once a month or so no longer causes my face to turn red. Overall, my experience with this product has been extremely positive. I take Milk Thistle from time to time but never tried Milk Thistle Phytosome™ . This capsules are easy to swallow. I don’t have any side effects and aftertaste. I believe that this capsules are very effective. It is made in USA in GMP facility and tested by a 3rd party lab, so I am pretty confident in the quality of this supplement.

Bioavailable form of Milk Thistle
I’ve only ever taken milk thistle in capsule or tablet form. This is my first experience taking a phytosomes form. Research reveals that bioavailability is increased by the addition of phytosomes, and the phosphatidylcholine phytosomes complex is thought to be one of the strongest and most bioavailable forms to take milk thistle – theoretically reducing dosage requirements. This Milk Thistle Phytosome™ Supplement by Prominent Nutrition came in a glass amber colored bottle. The lid was incredibly difficult to open, so those with arthritis or other hand difficulties may seriously need assistance in opening. There are 60 capsules (180mg each) and the suggested use is to take one capsule twice a day, so this provides one month’s worth. There are no further instructions on whether to take this on an empty stomach or with food (I’ve been taking with food and have not had any noticeable issues or problems). After searching the web for an answer, I discovered there are many different opinions offered–some suggested it is better to take milk thistle with food, while others suggested it was more beneficial to take on an empty stomach. So, you’ll have to either seek the advice of a medical professional, try both ways to see what works best for you, or do further research on your own.Although it is impossible to know whether I am benefiting from taking this supplement or not, I certainly hope that I am. The capsules are average size and have been easy to swallow without taste or odor.

Great supplement
This brand is really good. I love the fact that they use glass bottles instead of sending a giant hunk of plastic with a few pills inside. I had to use my cabinet-mounted jar opener to get the lid off, very secure packaging. I have taken milk thistle on and off for years for liver health/detox. Milk thistle has shown positive results in liver health/function in scientific studies in both animals and people. This supplement is simple to take because it’s just one typical sized capsule once daily. There are 60 capsules in the bottle. I take it once daily, in the evening. This formulation is different when compared to normal milk thistle supplements due to the inclusion of phospholipids. This will enhance absorption via encapsulation of the active ingredient. Another feature that I really liked is that this company lab tests their products. This is important because it ensures that you are getting a quality product, without any contaminants, that will, in turn, provide the benefit(s) you’re looking for. Many suppliers don’t lab test so you don’t really know the potency of the product in your capsules. They also don’t use GMOs, unnecessary fillers or typical allergenic substances. This is a great company and a great product, I am really happy with this!
