Invaluable to keep my teeth intact
I’ve been taking this brand for several years now. Had been using other coral calcium before. How long have I taken this? Maybe 10 years. I lost count. Why didn’t I write a review? I don’t know. I buy so many supplements I forget to. This is a staple for me. I have some cavities that would start hurting because the nerve is being exposed from time to time. If I take this regularly, it keeps my teeth mineralized, protected, and that sensitivity is gone. So, I skip taking this for 2 days and I certainly notice—especially if I had acidic foods recently. I was in a sledding accident 9 years ago that could have broken my ankle, but it didn’t. I heard a pop, but it was just my tendon. Ouch. No bone damage, though…they were quite strong, and I attribute my bone strength to taking this everyday. 😁 I began taking red mineral algae when I was 30 because women’s bone density tends to drop off starting at that age, and also simply because it was recommended because it has a higher absorbency than other calcium sources. It seems to be true. I take it after my evening tea along with my CALM magnesium supplement. Much of it sits at the bottom, so I stir it constantly while drinking, to make sure I consume it all. After I’m done, if I see any clumps at the bottom of my cup, I add water, slosh it around to disturb it, and down it quick. You could always add it to a gelatin capsule as well. I don’t, because I can handle the grit. I mean, it’s calcium after all. It tastes like calcium. I don’t know why people will think it ought to taste magical. Just take it for what it is—a supplement to your health. I’m avoiding doctors and dentists because of this…that alone is worth it to me!!

Makes you feel great and kills snack cravings!
I started taking this 6 months ago. 1/2 tsp in the morning mix e d with water after my morning coffee. Sure it is a little chalky but washes down fine with a chaser of water. I noticed right away a great sense of calmness, balance and energy. But the biggest impact is that I no longer get food cravings for snacks and I have been able to finally shed 30 lbs as a result. I also take ARMRA Colostrum before dinner and the combo of Aquamin in the am and ARMRA at night has taken me back to the metabolism I had when I was 10.

Good product
This takes my many muscle cramps away. I do not faithfully take most supplements everyday. I try to get what I need from food. Muscle cramps from top to bottom are too much. After 3 days they’re gone from about a half a tsp of this powder in water. I use it as maintenance.

Great for making hydration drinks!
I love this stuff.My husband and I both work outdoors, on boats, year round. In the summer that can be hard on the body. You are constantly fighting to stay hydrated as the wind, sun, and sweating dehydrate you.This stuff has been a game changer.I use it to make my own hydration drink mix w/ a few other ingredients, and then mix a little w/ water or water & coconut water together.I can feel how much better I’m hydrating myself when I drink the beverages I make w/ this stuff.I got the idea from a hydration powder I bought & loved, but was ultimately too expensive for us to keep buying it – especially w/ how often we need to use stuff like that in the hot months.I’m so glad I found a company that sells this component in bulk, so I can make my own hydration drinks for a more reasonable price!Another plus – I’m able to use organic fruit & vegetable powders in my mixture, unlike the expensive one that inspired me in the first place.

Gives me a scratchy throat
I really wanted this product to be a solid calcium source for me. Not sure why, but it always ends up giving me a scratchy (sore) throat. Perhaps an Aquamin extract would get the job done…

While I’m sure it’s very effective, it tastes awful and doesn’t dissolve well.
I got this to mix in my mushroom coffee in the morning for extra nutrients. It’s a nice blend of natural supplement from algae sources at an inexpensive cost, so it sounded like a good idea.The product is very bitter and hard to drink in the recommended quantity, even in a strongly flavored beverage like coffee, hot chocolate, or fruit juice. It doesn’t fully dissolve and leaves a substantial gritty residue at the bottom of the cup.I will try to get myself to finish this bag as I need the nutrients, but I can’t bring myself to take much or to take it daily. And I’m pretty tolerant of nasty tasting stuff.I probably won’t be buying this again.
