Great transparency as to what is in it. Make sure you read the full list of ingredients; it is long.
I like the fact that this supplement does not have gigantic amounts of anything. Far too many supplements follow the idea that if a little is good, a huge dose must be better, which is absolutely not true. This has what I consider wholesome ingredients in moderate amounts, some of them being things we put in food recipes and tea even. Reasonable size capsules, completely full. East to swallow with water. Good packaging. Distributed out of Texas with a real website. Kudos for showing a picture of the entire ingredient list on the promotional page. No hiding. They even show the exact percentages and ingredients in the Turmeric blend, instead of just saying “proprietary blend” as some manufacturers do. That is outstanding. I refuse to buy any supplement that does not show me exactly what is in it.I have taken plain Milk Thistle daily for over 20 years due to its long history as a liver supplement. This will be the first time I take an MT supplement that has more than milk thistle, so I will be keeping an eye out for any reactions, though I’m familiar with all the ingredients and okay with them. I do encourage all to read the full ingredient list to make sure there is nothing in this they are allergic or have a bad reaction to. It is quite long.

Good Support for Detox
Milk Thistle has the ability to coat and protect the liver from the harmful effects we encounter through our food sources and the environment. This is an interesting formula because it provides Organic Milk Thistle along with Selenium, Zinc, Glutathione, Artichoke, Olive and Green Tea extract along with Turmeric Root and Ginko Biloba. It also provides detox support with Licorice and Astragulus extract to help with elimination.This product is powerful for detox and liver protection. Different than just taking Milk Thistle by itself. I started with 2 capsules a day and have cut back to one a day because I’ve noticed some detox effects and wanted to slow things down. I’ve noticed it works really well so be prepared to cleared of some unwanted symptoms from a tired overloaded liver. Drink more water or clear liquids and help your body while using this product. I am also taking in extra fiber in the form of psyllium husk to promote better cleansing.Be sure to check with your doctor before taking this if you have any concerns about detoxing or if it’s okay to use with certain medications you may be prescribed. I don’t know if it is suitable for everyone.Used with care I find it helpful and am continuing to use it carefully.

Comprehensive support for the liver, gallbladder, etc.
I like that this has so many ingredients, to support a wide range of functions in the liver, gallbladder, etc. I don’t like that the dose is 2 capsules and even then it supplies less silymarin than the brand I usually purchase.However, I thought the extra ingredients in this would act synergistically with the silymarin to provide more comprehensive support – an important aspect for me because I’m taking a medication that has known liver toxicity to the degree lab monitoring is recommended. Capsules are easy to swallow. If liver tests come back good I’ll update this to reflect the information.

Improves muscle recovery and endurance
After a week with Milk Thistle, I’m truly impressed. I can definitely feel a noticeable improvement in my overall well-being, and a newfound vitality that I largely attribute to this supplement. Great overall quality and it tastes good. I originally got into this to help me with my new physically demanding job, after reading some studies that suggest silymarin in milk thistle can reduce the buildup of lactic acid and boost muscle/liver glycogen levels for better energy, as well as hepacyte growth factor levels.I still get the occasional muscle pains every now and then, but I found adding turmeric helps with that. The main thing it helps me with is muscle fatigue. Even though my muscles are aching I’m not losing any strength or vigor.Regarding quality, I like that whole seed content is being packaged in a mid size bottle with neutral tasting capsules, 2 a day being recommended.I have tried Milk Thistle drops in the past and I prefer capsules a little better as I find them more affordable and convenient. This particular bottle has exceeded my expectations, albeit I’m now sure how valid the organic claims are, as I haven’t seen any form of USDA certification on the product page, or on the bottle itself.
