These Oceanblue Essentials Everyday Omega Minis were interesting to me, because my doctor has recommended that I take an Omega-3 supplement for my borderline cholesterol. I also take a Vitamin D supplement, and this has both. The pills are surprisingly small and easy to swallow compared to separate Omega-3 and Vitamin D supplements I’ve taken in the past.However, I have some questions and concerns about this. First of all, the total Omega-3 amount is given as 720 mg per serving of 2 softgels. However, there aren’t amounts for the EPA and DHA given. I believe the ratio is important, and I’ve never come across a supplement that didn’t give this information before. I thought the certificate of analysis might provide more information, but when I scanned the code on the bottle, it went to the brand’s website which does not have the certificate for this product listed.I had researched before ordering and found that OceanBlue is a brand of KD Pharma Group, which seems to be a large global company. But, the lack of certificate of analysis and the EPA/DHA amounts not being given have me rethinking taking this.

Medium sized capsules aren’t too tough to swallow. It’s interesting that they added some flavor to the coating. The ingredients list is just what you expect, a decent combination for omega-3. Definitely a good choice.
