Bought this to improve my balance. It is very comfortable and really helps with your balance for PT or Yoga.

Good piece of premium foam but not great for me for exercise or balance
I am half and half with this Balance Pad, Slip Mat or Balance Board, which ever they want to call it. It’s actually just a very large and thick piece of foam, well constructed but it’s not much more complicated than that.I think my problem has to do with the statements they make that this piece of foam is going to work magic on me. To say it’s going to improve my blood circulation through massaging pressure points in my feet, Acupressure points that will some how relax me? I didn’t feel relaxed after trying it. It states, “Provides high-intensity massage for your butts and feet, improving your blood flow, aiding digestion and normal movement of your muscles.” This is not scientifically proven nor are there any reference points to share where this information comes from.It also states that one of the uses are as a foot pad for standing desks – but it is a little difficult to stand for a long period of time because it is foam and does not have great support. My foot sank a bit into the foam and when I tried to balance, it was a bit difficult and I work on balance every week. It may help you get better with your balance but only because it’s hard to stand on it for a long time. I tried it barefoot as that is how I practice my balance skills. I ordered it to do things like planks etc but when I tried, my elbow sank into the foam but my forearm did not. I am sure there are many things I can use it for, I guess I will just have to discover them as I go. I can see it being good for gardening and protecting your knees. It is also good for sitting on and being soft on your bum vs the floor. It is a really strong piece of foam if you have something you can use it for, I just dont feel it works for me for things like balance tricks or planks.
