Great product, good company
Outside of Thorne, Nutrabio is one of my favorite supplement companies to get my sups from. Things like Leucine here, and Glutamine. Great bang for your buck considering how much they give you and the quality of the supplements keeps me coming back. Not written by chatgpt or a bot, I just love this stuff.

High Quality, Long Lasting
This Leucine has lasted me a surprisingly long while. When I go to lift weights, I throw in a scoop of pre-workout as well as a scoop of this product, and you can’t even taste it! Whatever you are supplementing, or drinking throughout the day, I would say anything other than coffee or water and you won’t even know that this is there. With water, it’s definitely not a bad taste or anything like that, if you’re just sensitive to what you drink you might raise an eyebrow, literally just need like one drop of flavor. Without a doubt — this product helps fight fatigue and muscle soreness. I would still recommend creatine first though.

L-leucine powder
Did not “rate” flavor or thickness (irrelevant for this product). I had a much older version (same company) that I used up but I’m convinced that this version has identical nutritional value to the older one (but seems slightly more dense). I still weigh out the amount I need (typically 3g) using a very accurate scale.Note that leucine is difficult to dissolve in water, and by itself is bitter to taste. I add other ingredients as part of my homemade mix (which includes leucine) and perhaps because of the other ingredients, it mixes much easier in water.

Good product, decent price, wrong size serving scoop
I like the confidence-inspiring seals, convenient packaging, and the fact that a scoop is provided. However…One of the little plastic scoops provided is purported to be 1 serving = 3g of leucine. The problem is that 1 level scoop is simply not 3g. It’s more like 2g. And if you’re not being careful to fill the scoop to the brim, it’s more like 1.7, or just over half a serving. In 5 trials of 3 different measurement methods on a gram scale (loose, compact, heaping) all averaged out to less than 3g (2.1, 2.7, 2.8, respectively). Based on the ‘loose’ measurements the scoop should be about 43% larger; a 7 or 8cc scoop is appropriate for a 3g dry-weight.

I feel a difference after taking for three months
I’m not saying that it bulks up muscle, but my biceps are noticeably harder. I think it’s strengthening the muscle fibers. When I flex my bicep it’s like squeezing a rock. I’m 55 yr male. I mix a scoop in my coffee every morning. No negative side effects. Recommend.

Just dump a scoop in your mouth
Great supplement to take after dinner, don’t bother attempting to mix it with water or liquid. It’s hydrophobic and will not blend. Easier to dump it in your mouth and tal e drink of water. Tastes awful 🙂 It really does help with recovery

Awesome stuff, pure leucine, highly recommend.
All of the people complaining that it doesn’t mix well don’t realize that they are dealing with pure leucine. Pure amino acids don’t mix well. If you want something that mixes well and tastes great then go look elsewhere, some place that has a ton of fillers and additives. You can’t have it both ways. I’d prefer to have the unadulterated, pure supplement. I don’t want people adding things to my supplements. I personally just take a spoonful straight and then wash it down with some water. Don’t have to worry about mixing then. Keep up the great work, Nutrabio. Also this is completely plant-based, which is a huge plus. Don’t have to worry about eating duck feathers or other garbage like that.
