    Very efficacious!
    This supplement is highly efficacious! While I would prefer to be able to fall asleep on my own, this product has definitely helped my sleep difficulties while recovering from heavy metal toxicity, thyroid dysfunction, and gut imbalance. For the past several months I have taken these with great success, however I do intend on phasing them out as I continue to improve my health. As getting adequate sleep is such a significant part of healing, and many maladies inhibit proper sleep, I’ve found it helpful to use these as a catalyst for adequate sleep as I recover. This is also a great deal for the price, and they will last you for months! I have also found that choosing a brand that uses capsules as opposed to tablets is much more effective…I recently switched to a different brand that uses tablets and could definitely tell as it took me much longer to fall asleep, and I would wake only a couple hours later. These help me get to sleep in about an hour, and I can typically get at least 6 hours on continuous rest. It is also very helpful, if possible, to leave your devices outside of your bedroom at night and try not to be in front of a computer screen for at least an hour before bed. I know this may be hard for some, yet it does help to ensure true and restful sleep! Very grateful for this product!

  2. This item arrived in sketchy condition and smelled absolute awful. I’m sure it was used by someone else and then returned. Beware. Amazon does this A LOT!!!

    I was using a duffeeebt supplement for years and was hesitant to try something new but these are great and are my new number one! They’re a great value for the money. Take about thirty minutes before bed and you’ll sleep great. 😊

    Good Brand if Melatonin
    Now is a good melatonin.As a Fibromyalgia patient I have trouble getting restful sleep.The capsules are small and easy to swallow. The melatonin seems effective. I have no side effects at all. I don’t let this run out at my house !

    This is best at making you feel sleepy enough to fall asleep. I had insomnia and was trying this before going to prescriptions and it never did really get me to sleep, but my parents tried it and had good results. The only qualms they had was that if they didn’t get a full 7-8 hours, they’d wake up feeling a little groggy in the morning.

    Melatonin hormone really helps for sleep. Its safe, healthy too and makes your bio clock in balance. It strengthens other neural circuitry of the brain too. As we age this hormone is less produced + Blue light and bright white light also decreased the melatonin level in the blood. So follow good sleep hygiene. NO TV when going to bed or working on laptop, yeah avoid caffeine before going to bed (no caffeine after 2 pm)…. However Red light + darkness increases the production naturally. intelligent and moderated Exercise helps but not vigorous exercise before bed.Most useful for frequent travellers to get rid of jet lag.3mg is a big dose. Do not overdose. Please note Melatonin is sold in prescriptions in India and not Over the counter, so not sure about this info. Take a good docs advice before supplements mania starts :)NOW foods is pretty good company, economical and the absorption rate is v good.Follow doc advice on how to use it….It definitely initiates sleep, but not sure about the sustenance, everyone is unique so is every type of problem –Doctor is the best adviserFOund nowfood melatonin v good. But in india melatonin requires doc prescription I guess, so not sure if its legal to buy over the counter.

    Wish Now Foods had gone for “Time Release” version of melatonin..This product indeeds knocks me out in a couple of minutes but its effect soon wears out after 3-4 hours due to which I had to wake up in the middle of night & had to again consume another capsule for full 8 hours satisfactory sleep..I have tried breaking the capsule into half & consuming it half the content..ie-1.5mg but it doesnt seems so effective as original 3mg capsule;atleast for my case..Nevertheless I wont start netpicking now..Overall satisfied by the product..It ended my frustating delayed sleep phase syndrome & my carcidian disorder..Before this, I was consuming ” 0.5 – 1mg Etizolam” for sleep & this came as God send product for me..Thank you Now Foods!& one last word of caution- Melatonin significantly decreases Sperm Count & Mobility in Males if taken for more than 2 months & can drastically reduce the the chance of conceiving if you are trying to do so!! You can check it out on internet..A recent US Study had confirmed this..Although Melatonin is natural,its not intended for long term use..Melatonin can have serious side effects for young men..Melatonin is more suitable for people of age>50 years since at that age body’s natural melatonin production begins to deplete so exercise some caution..You can try “Doctor’s Best High Absorption Magnesium” for sleep disorder as an alternative to Melatonin for long term use..Its completely safe without any side effects & healthy too..Thank you!

    I have been suffering from depression for dom years now. And i was on anti-depressant and sleeping pills ( benzodiazepines and ambien to be specific). Last year i started feeling i was becoming dependent so i went Cold turkey without understanding the consequences. For an year i was suffering from bouts of insomnia and bad sleep which spilled over to my everyday life. Bad mood, fatigue, lack of motivation, suicidal thoughts … you name it i had it. After a lot of research i zeored down on trying melatonin. From the first night i took it this product has helped me sleep like a baby. It has been a month now and i am completely satisfied with this product and will recommend to anyone who is suffering with sleep issues. Take mealtonin with magnesium glycinate and you are sorted. NOW has delivered a premium product.
