I use Elderberry as an immune system supplement. It is a powerfouse supplement.I have discovered that Elderberry along with Echinacea, Devil’s Claw, Vitamin C and D, Zinc, Ginger Root, Beet Root, Potassium help my immune system. I have not had a cold, the flu, nausea, or any kind of illness like those in over four years. There aren’t many supplements which actually do what you’ve read they can do but elderberry sure does! I first heard about it when I got the flu while living in North Carolina. Local residents who lived in the mountains there said to take elderberry and you won’t catch viruses and they were right. I also work in health care and this is what nurses take to stay healthy all winter. Whenever I feel something coming on, feel run down or people around me at work are sick, I take it and I haven’t had the flu since 2001. It also makes me just feel better overall. The NOW brand has the best price, they are easy to take and the quality is great. I work in health care and the nurses in the ED and ICU all take them. I will never be without!

A New Must-Have For My Health Supplies
I bought this during cold and flu season to help me stave off the dreaded flu. I was born with some immunity issues and at times I think I can almost feel when my immune system is struggling. I prefer whenever possible to help my immune system stay strong in as natural way as possible. After doing some research on elderberry and their benefits, I decided to give this a try. I was very pleased to have escaped the flu when it passed through our area and attribute some of this to these elderberry capsules along with some other vitamins/herbs, diet, and so on. I have continued to take this for several months after, and I feel now that this is a necessary product to keep in our health supplies. I have had no adverse reactions or side effects, and I have continued to purchase and take one of these daily for many months. I recommend these for anyone who has low immunity or who would like to give it an extra boost when exposed to illness as an extra precaution.

I bought these to combat the flu season. Even though the flu has been going around, we have stayed relatively healthy. My two children got the flu but with this and some vitamin C, their symptoms were very light and went away very quickly.

I bought these as I have long used elderberry syrup to help combat colds. I thought it would be easier than lugging sticky syrup around when I felt a cold coming on. I work with the public, and am constantly exposed. Sure enough, a few weeks ago I started sneezing (I don’t have allergies) and my throat was getting raspy. There had been quite a few people I was in contact with that were obviously sick. Ugh. I started taking the capsules immediately (I don’t mess around) 2 every 4 hours, and when I got home I followed with zinc and vitamin C also every four hours. I was getting worse and by the evening my nose was running, my sinuses were clogged, my throat hurt and I couldn’t stop sneezing. I felt awful. I kept with the regimen , took some night time cold med later when I was too miserable to sleep, and woke up the next morning with my symptoms gone. I mean gone. I was still feeling a bit fatigued, but the head cold was gone. So, this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this, as I said, I’ve always used elderberry SYRUP, zinc,+c in the past, but this was the first time I tried elderberry CAPSULES and they worked just as well.So I would highly recommend keeping these on hand. Good quality product, excellent price, easy to swallow and they do their job.
