Sturdy, Secure, and High Quality
Love the padding that comes with the bar, makes lifting very comfortable. Also the weights come with protective soft rubber casing so it doesn’t damage your floor, perfect for indoor workouts.

Customer Service is AMAZING
I bought this set for my husbands birthday and its worth the money. Its easy to assemble and seems sturdy so hopefully he’ll be able to use it for a while. However, I needed to purchase heavier plates as apparently 22kg isn’t enough for him (eye roll). So I messaged Nice Choice directly and received an email back the following morning. They told me their price list and even gave me a deal for separate plates (not the set). The communication was fast, easy, and flexible so THANK YOU for this. Customer service like this is hard to find so I truly appreciate a local product (California) and a great customer service department. Thank you Rachel for all your help! My husband will love the extra weight!

As anyone looking for dumbbells during the pandemic knows, it’s almost impossible. I bought these because they were literally the only option available immediately that allowed for adjustable weight. I wasn’t a huge fan of the yellow, but it’s actually kind of grown on me.PROS• Packed neatly and efficiently for shipping – I kept the box to put them away easily when needed.• Neoprene casing is durable and keeps the weights from sliding around, even on hardwood.• Bar handles have a comfortable and sturdy grip.CONS• Because it allows for more weight, the ends of the dumbbells stick out considerably if you’re only using one plate on each side. I ordered the 55lb option, so maybe the lower weight options have shorter dumbbell bars, though I’m not sure.• The plastic screw-on bolts are a bit of pain to get on and off. Don’t expect to be able to switch between different plates quickly. On mine, one side screws on easily, the others stick a bit and require more work to get on and off. (I bought some metal clamps to use instead, but those aren’t much easier because of the threading on the bar)I haven’t used the barbell yet, so I can’t attest to that. Hope this review is helpful. I’m still very grateful to have these and will happily work with the cons in order to keep up a good at home workout routine.

Great for the money
I’ve been very happy with these weights.Other reviewers mentioned the seemingly long amount of time it takes to unwind the spinner thingy that holds the weights in place. It is a bit slow, but I don’t change out the weights often, so I don’t mind.The bar does extend well beyond the weights. Not a huge deal, except for a couple of exercises when the extended bar does kind of get in the way. I’ve worked around it, though.I love the rubber sleeve that goes around the outside of the weights. The handle is comfortable and despite being made of plastic, the hardware has given me no indication that it’s not up for the job.I’m a newbie to using free weights and these have been a huge help to me. If you’re in a similar boat, I recommend this product.

Easy to change out the weights and has been very durable. It is easy to grip and can be used in so many different ways which I love the most! Definitely worth the value if you’re wanting to build muscle fast.

Great set to make home workouts more challenging; I use them as dumbbells, barbell, and free plates. Very easy to incorporate into Youtube workout videos to add intensity if you’re looking to add variety from bodyweight exercises.The screws go all the way in, so it’ll take some time to adjust the weights once they’re on (a few minutes?). A little bulky, but well-balanced.They are made out of plastic, so be careful not to drop them — they might fracture if you drop it at an odd angle. The bright side is that when I hold the bar, it doesn’t chafe my palms. A tad expensive considering the material, but they work fine (especially with no gym access during pandemic times). One of the barbell bars were chipped at the end, but the customer service was incredible; I emailed and they helped me out right away! Definitely happy with the customer service.I’m interested to see how long they’ll last, since they’re plastic. Will update if I encounter any issues over the next few months with these, but so far, so good!

With gyms closed these are exactly what I needed. These arrived within 5 days of ordering (a day sooner than anticipated). I live in a studio apartment, so the compact size is great and can easily be stored away.It takes about 30 seconds to screw in the clips but they’re really sturdy. You can just change the order of your sets so it’s not throwing off your timing. The weights themselves are great and this added more variety to my home workouts, and I’m loving them so far. I would definitely recommend these! The price point is also really good considering how much gym equipment is going for right now.

As a small girl (5’4), I find the size of the connecting bar too short. It’s not even long enough for me to place my hands comfortably for barbell rows or back squats. I have to resort to putting my hands where the dumbbell connectors are and that then forces a wide grip on me when I do rows. I get that it’s supposed to be compact but I personally would not complain about the center bar being like 20cm longer. The product is very sturdy and no complaints about the quality otherwise
