Easy to swallow
There is no aftertaste with this well known immune support supplement. New Chapter is one of the top name brands. Supplementation of the immune system appears to be in great demand in these new times and this has been a well known and researched addition. My bottle arrived quickly and dated well in advance and protected from breakage. This will be one of staples in maintaining good health and Amazon appears to out price many other avenues of purchase including the manufacturer.

If you aren’t taking mushroom supplements, you probably should be… & these are the best I’ve tried so far.I love this product– I have tried various different mushroom supplements, but Lifeshield Immune Support is my absolute favorite.These are gel-cap — very easy for me to swallow (I have a lot of trouble with that). No odd flavors or smell.This supplement seems to really help prevent many of the asthma & allergy issues I have– anything that helps me to breathe easier is a big plus!I also had my doctor comment that my blood pressure dropped over 20 points in about 4 weeks– the only thing I had done differently was start taking these mushroom supplements…. Draw you own conclusions, but I am pleased.I have always heard that adding a variety of mushrooms to one’s diet is a great health booster, but who has access to so many varieties– especially on a daily basis? Not me, certainly– I have no where to go wild ‘shroom hunting nearby… this is a very helpful substitute for those of us who cannot get these fresh.So far, I have been pleased with all of the New Chapter products I have tried, but this is my favorite along with their Turmeric supplement. I have never had a quality issue with their products— Nor any of the odd smells that some other herbal supplements can have…Fast shipping, well-packaged; no problems.I highly recommend 🙂

Immune System Problems – This Product Works
My immune system has been shot since I was little and got very, very ill. Throughout the years I have tried multiple products and spent a considerable amount of $ with no real positive results until now. Problems have been being sick i.e.; cold, flu like symptoms which had me down for several days and grew so weary of ‘always been sick and feeling drained’.I have been taking this product several months now and immediately felt my body respond; even under very, very stressful conditions; normally take two capsules in the morning; under dire situations take 2 more in the evening. Usually am on a subscription, but ran out while away attending to my sis (which was very, very stressful) and was concerned how my system would do….it did wonderfully and am so impressed. Amazon has the best price as I’ve looked at several sites and Amazon is clearly the winner without a doubt! Kudos to the company for this truly health altering product!!!!!

A great addition to your supplements
These performed admirably this past winter. I was working extremely long hours under great stress, I know my body was weakened and vulnerable to illness. Yet through the entire time I was taking these immunity vitamins, despite being surrounded by sick co-workers and family members, I never fell ill. I only got sick a week or so after I ran out of the immunity supplement bcs I was too busy to take time to order more. I now have them on a subscription order, along with all my other supplements and vitamins from New Chapter. It’s less expensive and it is a set-it-and-forget-it solution to having them on hand when you need them. The entire line of New Chapter products is very high quality and worth the cost. I’m sad there are only 5 starts to give within this review.

Great Stuff
It is hard to a review a product like this because in the end you have to ask yourself….is this really working? Hard to say. People who are buying something like this are probably more inclined to live a healthier life style and that fact alone is a major factor in contributing to not getting sick. However, I’m inclined to think that high quality supplement manufacturers, such as New Chapter, make a product you can believe in as far as contributing to your overall health so long as you understand that this is a component of a healthy living style (which includes regular exercise!!). This is one of those products. This blend of mushrooms is delivered to you through two “vcaps” taken each day so each bottle represents a month’s supply. I have been taking this product for about 2 months and have not gotten sick….and fall/winter is the time of year that most people come down with a cold or the flu. I have been around numerous sick people both at work (I work at a very large hospital which is a great place to catch a cold) and in my personal life (roommates and family members have all been coughing all over me). I can honestly say that I am still going strong and I believe I will make it through the winter without getting sick. Is it this mushroom supplement? Is it exercise? Eating right? My multivitamin? Positive outlook and belief that this product actually works? Yes – all of them together is most likely the correct answer. There is no such thing as a silver bullet with your health as I am sure anyone reading this review will know. At any rate, I am pleased to add this product to my health regimen and feel that its blend of medicinal mushrooms has added another line of defense in my battle to not get sick and stay healthy. Please keep in mind, this product is used to help bolster your immune system before you get sick (that is, to help bolster the baseline defense of your immune system if that makes sense). The one thing I really like about taking this is that it never upsets my stomach (New Chapter claims you can take it on an empty stomach, but I would never take any supplement on an empty stomach unless specifically directed to do so). The vcaps are easy to swallow and are gluten free if that is something that is important to you. I knocked off a star because it is expensive….it’s about $20 on amazon and $30 at whole foods. Buy off amazon.com and group it with other supplements to get free super saver shipping and its a pretty good deal for a high quality supplement.
