MRM Nutrition was founded by Mark Olson in 1996. After noticing there was not much depth, in the supplement industry. Frustrated with the formulations on the market, Mark set out to develop his own elegant formulas using “novel nutraceutical intermediates.” Unlike other supplement brands, we’re science founded from the top down. We don’t wait to see what the next fade or trend will be, we create them.

Don’t be confused by the conflicting advice in these reviews!!!!
Ok, so you’re reading the product reviews trying to figure out if this powder is disgusting or delicious. You are conflicted. Some people say that it is LITERALLY UNDRINKABLE, while others say that it’s THE BEST PROTEIN POWDER THEY’VE EVER TASTED.I came into this purchase with very, very low expectations. First of all, I hate mocha flavored things. Second of all, I HATED the Vega sport performance protein (chocolate flavor), because I could taste the beany-ness of it, and the texture and smell were revolting (also, it started to separate within 2 minutes of mixing. Gross). I bought this powder because Whey protein powders really really upset my stomach, even though some of them are delicious. All of that aside, here’s what I have to say:This protein powder is fing delicious. Holy mackeral. I was so surprised that I liked it, I was honestly expecting that I’d have to add bananas and peanut butter and soy milk to make it palletable. I tried it with plain, cold water in a shaker bottle. It’s awesome! The mocha flavor is very very subtle, and the chocolate flavor is really rich and creamy. It’s pretty sweet, but no sweeter than a milkshake, so if you’re one of those reviewers complaining about how “unbearably sweet it is”, you need to understand that they’re TRYING to make this taste like a yummy, creamy milkshake. And even when mixed with plain water, IT DOES!!!!!!The texture is great. It has a little grain to it, but it absolutely is not offensive or overpowering.I’m going to try mixing it with some soy milk tomorrow and see how that tastes. If you’re worried about which protein powder to buy, BUY THIS ONE!! Seriously. It’s cheap, delicious, and the macros stack up great against Whey protein powders.Do not be afraid! Take the plunge!! You’ll love it (and if not, mix in a bunch of other crap until it tastes good, and buy something else next time). IN the end, your taste buds are unique, so you have to try it to know if you’ll like it or not.

    So Delicious!!!
My husband has been on a mission to get me to use protein powder for years. He’s tried making me shakes and mixing protein powder in with pancakes and I just could never tolerate it…the chalky, bland, fake flavor disgusted me. That is until he found this stuff. You see, I am 4 months post-partum and recently signed up for a fitness challenge that requires a certain amount of protein intake per day. My husband convinced me one shake a day would help, so I gave it a try. We picked this particular brand because our daughter has a terrible reaction when I eat dairy or soy and it gets into my breastmilk. This is free of both :)The first shake I made I used 8 oz of almond milk and a scoop of the chocolate protein. It was SO chocolate and pretty grainy. I dumped it in the blender and added 6 ice cubes and a cup of strawberries and holy cow! It is the best protein shake I’ve ever had. I could only taste the fruit a little and the chocolate flavor was perfect! I tried it again, but with a banana instead of strawberries and it was so creamy! I literally look forward to having a protein shake now.I also want to add that people rave about Shakeology and going off taste alone, I think this protein powder is so much better! I know that stuff is packed with other super foods, but this stuff has more protein per serving and is $115 cheaper per month. I will definitely be buying this again!!!

    Been using for years
I am not vegan but my stomach cannot handle whey protein powder. I found this brand back in 2017 and have been using ever since. It gives me no digestive issues and the chocolate tastes pretty good – for a vegan protein powder. I primarily use it after I work out

Not a fan of the taste or texture. But I’ll gladly accept both for the relatively healthful, economical, ethical protein
I’d been spending a fortune monthly on organic vegan protein powders, and would go through a greater-than-two-pound tub in under two weeks. So I wanted to see if I could save a few bucks by switching to a cheaper vegan powder. In case you’d like to compare your requirements with mine, I needed a supplement that’s (1) vegan, (2) low in total fat, (3) low in total carbohydrate, (4) very low in sugar–preferably no added sugar at all, (5) free of preservatives, additives…Enter Veggie Elite. The cost per gram vegan protein is about the best I can find while still satisfying my listed needs. I wasn’t prepared for the texture or taste, though. The texture, regardless the ratio of water to powder I use or how vigorously I mix the drink, is consistently gritty. On top of that, the stevia imparts what strikes me (as it always does with stevia) as an artificial sweetness. It reminds me of taking a mouthful of a diet soda–all of which I abhor for their cloying, “chemical” sweetness. I use 1.5 scoops twice a day. I haven’t tried mixing this with anything other than water, but frankly I try to swallow it as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, there’s always sludge left in the bottom of my mixing cup I have to reconstitute with water and swig down.I’ll be buying this protein powder regularly so long as the price doesn’t increase beyond what it is right now. This is at the limit of what I am willing to pay for a non-GMO, artificial additives-free, low calorie vegan protein powder.*********** UPDATE, 1st Month Using***********I’d been mixing Elite one scoop (included) to 8 oz water in my normal hand shaken mixer. The shake’s texture was unappealingly thick and chalky. A few days ago I got out an electric blender, added one scoop protein powder to 10 oz water and blended for about thirty seconds with about a cup of ice. This produced a richer whipped drink, airy like a thin fat-free yogurt. The flavor was very flat–but I’m using only water. Others may have better luck with another liquid. At least the ratio of one scoop to 10 oz water solved the texture problem.Another note. I find that even though I finish a shake in about five minutes, by the third minute or so the protein powder has settled out of the water and formed a thick sludge at the bottom of my mixing jar. I add about two more oz water to this to reconstitute and drink. So if you’re looking for an economical vegan protein supplement and don’t mind that you may not become a fan of the taste or texture (others here on Amazon rave about both), you’d be hard pressed to find a better product than Elite. I “say” this after many, many years trying a great variety of protein shake supplements.
