If you’ve been stuck on prescription drugs like rabeprazole, or find yourself often reaching for tums, pepto, rolaids, zantac, etc., then you owe it to your health to a) start eating better (d’uh) but also b) check out Glutagenics. I’ve never found a price as good as the $39 I see here on Amazon and I’ve used this product for two years now. I had taken rabeprazole for 4 years, then started seeing an ND who said to get off it as we need stomach acid to help digest food and get the enzymes and nutrition out of it.As soon as I got off it though, heartburn and acid reflux went nuts. It was painful, and you don’t want to suffer through that for extended lengths of time because it can erode your esophagus and cause esophageal cancer or Barrett’s Esophagus. Enter Glutagenics. After only a couple days my heartburn was gone. I was taking 1tsp in water in the morning and one at night. If you have bad GERD then you may wish to take 1tsp four times a day, one with each meal then one just before bedtime, for the first week until you notice symptoms subside completely.I changed to just an L-Glutamine powder because I found it to be much cheaper, but because I wasn’t watching my diet and still eating a lot of animal protein, over-eating and drinking too much alcohol on the week-ends the symptoms returned. Turns out the L-Glutamine only gives you muscle relief (ie – the esophageal sphincter is a muscle) and strengthens your digestive tract, while your esophagus lining is coated by the licorice extract and aloe extract, so I was missing those two components. A return to the Glutagenics and I had my relief again.These days I try to consume substantially less animal protein, eat more vegetables thanks to the Vitamix blender I picked up, and I’m finding that even if I only take the Glutagenics a couple times a week I don’t get return symptoms. If I’m going to barbecue up some slow smoked ribs on a week-end (rarity) and drink a little more than usual then I’ll have a hit of the Glutagenics a few times in the day leading up to those meals/events.This is an amazing product, thank you Metagenics.

Seems to be working!
I’ve had a lot of GI issues due to gut inflammation and abdominal adhesions, I have been able to find anything until this product that seems to help. I feel less bloated and my daily heart burn, acid reflux and nausea are completely gone and I’ve only been taking this for about 2 weeks! I really feel like this has all around been a a great product for me and has really started improving my gut health! I can’t stand the flavor though, I almost threw up the first time I drank it in water, so I switched to drinking it in a small glass of juice and that has been working perfectly! I will 100% purchase this again!!!

This seems to be helping…
I have many, many, many food sensitivities and it seems like new ones have been popping up by the month, to the point where I can barely eat anything without feeling sick and/or fatigued. A medical professional suggested that I try this out to heal my gut and I think it’s been helping. I actually ate a bagel the other day with very little bad effects, for the first time in two years! It’s not something I’d do all the time, but it’s nice to know I can “cheat” sometimes without feeling like I want to crawl into a hole and die. I’m also hoping that I will continue to not gain any new sensitivities…fingers crossed!I would recommend that anyone with major intestinal issues/damage give this product a try. It seems expensive, but it lasts quite a while (1-2 months) and has helped a lot of folks.Also, if you are worried about the taste, it’s not bad. I mix it in with my protein shake mix or with a smoothie and it’s not too noticeable. It tastes a little bit like licorice and wet cardboard, but it’s really not bad.
