I used to take a different Milk Thistle for liver health but I ran out of that bottle. I was excited to find this one on Amand decided to give it a try. The ingredients look to be great quality and beneficial to my health. I’ve only been taking these for a few days and I’m not sure that one can actually notice if their liver is happier or not but I will update if I notice a significant difference.

No visible benefit yet, price seems high
This herbal preparation alleges to provide support to the liver and may have beneficial effects on blood sugar and cholesterol; but these are largely unproven it seems and it is difficult to show that there is any actual benefit. I made this purchase with hopes that it would provide protection to the liver; however after using this for an admittedly short period, I am yet to see any change and I’m not sure I will. Any benefit may only become evident with blood tests and other lab work.As with any herbal preparation, be certain to check with your doctor first especially if you are taking other medications since milk thistle and some of the other ingredients can alter the effect of or reduce the effectiveness of those medications, or amplify their effect. In many cases, this could be dangerous. If you are allergic to any of the ingredients, you should not take this preparation; if not sure, use a very small dose initially to be certain that you do not have any adverse reaction.Giving this four stars on hopes that it will provide benefit; taking away one star for the price which seems high.

Good ingredients, 45 servings
This seems like a pretty good liver detox supplement. It has all the good ingredients I’m aware of for liver support. The pills don’t have much of a smell or taste, and are easy to take. There’s 45 servings total, I probably don’t plan on taking these daily, I think I’ll only take them on days or weekends that I drink alcohol to give my liver a little extra help.
