My first amazon review. I was diagnosed with fatty liver in August of 2021 likely due to an unhealthy diet and alcohol. I immediately started doing research on natural solutions to reverse my condition. While i did cut out all processed foods, limited my alcohol intake and lost 30lbs, i have been taking Hippie Farms Liver Cleanse since the third week i was diagnosed.Today i received my bloodwork results and my AST levels are completely normal. This is a wonderful product and if combined with a healthy diet and alcohol in moderation (depending on your AST levels) there is no doubt in my mind this product works!!!

Very little filler, good variety of herbs, mediocre potency
I hate when companies fill their capsules with a bunch of fillers and flowing agents and not only do you end up with a larger capsule and lower potency but a bunch of inert stuff your body (and liver) don’t need. This company didn’t do that. The only filler they used was rice flour (mostly added to help the supplement flow through their machines and get encapsulated evenly). The bulk of each capsule is actual herbs.Unfortunately, the label doesn’t specify exact potency or extract strength of each herb which usually signifies weak quality. You should be able to get a more detailed description of how potent each herb is (its concentration ratio) and what form it comes in. Basically, it appears they just ground up whole plant parts and you’re getting root fiber and inert bulk, too, as opposed to a reduced, concentrated extract of just the active compounds in each plant, so to speak. This allows a company to just list “150 mg” of something but with a lot of wiggle room to cut corners compared to if it was “150 mg ____ extract 1:1”. Anyways, legal labeling rules aside, this APPEARS to be a decent supplement but I can’t say that it’s going to do much for you or is even worth the price. It’s hard to tell with things like this because (1) you can’t usually feel a physical difference in how a supplement is interacting with your internal organs and (2) most liver “cleansing” happens with a whole lifestyle change, not a dried herbal capsule, as much as we’d like to believe otherwise. Most of the herbs in this product are better utilized as a tea in combination with rigorous diet changes.

Has developed some skin problems and I figured it was my liver. Sure enough , tried this product and it slowly cleared up!
