Takes some experimentation but now I can’t live without it
It took several days, 2-3 sessions a day, to figure out how to comfortably use this machine. I have had a (undiagnosed) sacroiliac joint problem for almost a year – basically back pain above my pelvis to the left of my spine. Last month, my left hip was starting to hurt/seize up followed by my right hip, since my gait is off balance because of the back pain and walking 2-3 miles a day. Walking was getting harder and harder and I was getting worried about my long-term mobility. For the record, I’m short and have chunky calves. This machine is supposed to be used oriented with the handle facing away from you and the infrared lights under your calf muscles. My calves are too chunky and my legs are too short to do this comfortably; the IR light domes poke into them.As others have mentioned, the ankle cradle is too firm and uncomfortable to use. I tried a towel but it kept slipping. Lifepro included a couple of cushy sweatbands that I, at first, tried on my legs but it was too awkward because my most comfortable position was with my heels on the cradle rather than my ankles or calves. So I put the sweatbands on the cradle itself and it’s better if not great.I also turned the machine around so the handle was closest to me and I just let my calves hang, swinging freely with the machine’s movement. I have Lifepro’s IR flashlight and it works well, but I think the use of IR here is questionable and kind of gimmicky unless you have calf problems in that specific spot. Likewise, I really doubt this can take the place of cardio and, coincidentally, I was keeping track of my blood pressure at my doctor’s request at the same time I first started using the swing and my BP didn’t noticeably improve over a 2 week period. YMMV.But if you’re immobile, chances are it will help you feel better, looser, and more relaxed, if you can find a comfortable position.Even with these various discomforts, the machine helped my back and hips after the very first session. Now, I do two sessions a day, 5 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes before bed, usually on the lowest speed, and I’m experiencing a lot less pain. For this reason alone, it’s worth the money. Two things I would change:1. Design the machine so it will stand up on end, making it easier to store between uses. I can’t think of a reason why the end opposite the handle needs to be rounded except aesthetics.2. On manual mode, remember the last speed setting. It doesn’t matter if you’re using manual or auto mode, it starts at 8, where the speed range is 1-12.Also note that if you have knee problems (I do) this machine can make them worse. Experiment with speed, leg placement on the cradle (heel, ankle, calf), even whether your toes point straight up at the ceiling or off to the sides. I sometimes bring one knee to my chest and let the other leg swing, then switch. It all makes a difference whether the swing makes my knees ache.

    LifeSaver on steroids
Wow, this was a life saver purchase! I have had trouble with swollen legs and ankles for 5-7 years now. The problem has gotten worse over time. My feet were in constant pain and often agony. I have to climb stairs to get to my bedroom taking them one step at a time, then dragging my other leg and foot behind to meet on that same step. One day at work, I was outside getting bit up by bugs talking to customers when I noticed the spot I was scratching, just above my ankle, was pitted in. The stranger sitting next to me saw the look of disbelief on my face. She followed my gaze and also saw the deep pitting, she spoke up telling me that her legs had been even worse 3 months ago. She told me how dangerous it was to be that full of inflammation. I looked over at her legs which looked completely normal. I was interested:, she showed me her swing machine that she had purchased 3 months earlier when she had become afraid of dying from a stroke. She told me, that she uses her swing machine morning and evening everyday, without fail. And within a month her legs began to kook normal.I went home and ordered this machine that night. It arrived in 3 days. From my first use my legs felt such relief. After using it three times in 24 hours my legs were slimmer the inflammation was subsiding. I have noticed even my blouses are a little more roomier through the arm pit area and across the belly. This machine is making a fast difference. Now when I feel my legs begin to hurt, or feel heavy I stop and do a leg treatment especially at work where I have to climb a lot of stairs.I absolutely will recommend this machine to everyone.

great for leg movement but not for infrared use
It’s holding up well and works well to stimulate circulation in the legs. But the configuration of the machine makes it almost impossible to lay your legs comfortably on the infrared light source, so it’s basically useless. I nevertheless great use out of it for its movement capability.

    Not for me
I was hoping this unit would help me get some physical therapy and the vibration platform would help to reduce lymphatic buildup in my lower extremities. When I tried using the unit the first time, it was a very high speed and I was only able to lower the speed by a small amount using the remote. It caused pain in my knees, ankles, and lower back but I continued trying to lower the speed to a starting point that I could tolerate but was unable to do so. I also tried using the vibration plate but it was so mild it didn’t seem effective and there is no way to adjust the intensity of the vibration feature. I am returning the unit.

Worked great for about a week. Returned after it wouldn’t turn on.
Unit worked fine for one week. We barely used it. Maybe five times. We went to use it last week and it would not turn on. No distress on controller, the unit nor the wiring. Makes no sense. I was not going to take it apart. Returned it via UPS yesterday and awaiting my refund. I will by a different brand

Easy to use and feels good
I love the way it increases my lymphatic flow and the tingly feeling when it stops.

    Excellent Product
I bought this for my 9 year old son who has cerebral palsy after it was recommended to me by a message therapist. It comes with different settings for speed. The swinging motion of the legs is from side to side. Soft ankle bands were included to provide extra comfort. The built in timer has several settings and is extremely helpful. This machine helps to provide extra movement for my son’s muscles which will help his mobility in the long run, and promotes circulation. The heated vibrating foot massage is not overly hot. We use it to stimulate the nerves in his feet in legs. A cord connected remote allows it to be controlled while laying down. Could be used while laying on the floor with a yoga mat but we use it while he lays on his bed for extra comfort. He finds the entire experience relaxing. I would definitely purchase it again. Worth the money.

  9. Amazon Customer

Why is Amazon selling this on the UK market? The machine is designed for the US, with a US wall plug and a 110v spec. UK uses 240v, as well as a completely different plug. What a waste of time unpacking, re-packing and returning. Amazon, why don’t you check products first?
