Flexible tool
I purchased one of these through Scholastic and have been using it with my toddler. She is developmentally delayed and we are using it for sitting and balancing, crawling over a wobbling surface, and even banging on like a drum. It is such a versatile tool! Amazon has it for the same price as direct from the manufacturer as well as Scholastic, which is wonderful. One of my questions had been what the weight limit is. According to KORE, it is 250lbs. It is easily able to hold me as a full size adult and I can sit and rock on it just like in the picture without it feeling like it’s going to break. It’s very sturdy feeling. This is an item that my daughter is going to have and use for the next couple decades as it can easily transition from toddler physical therapy tool, to child wiggle seat, to teenage leave-me-alone-while-I’m-reading seat, to adult work-out aid. Well worth the money!!!
It’s Just Me –
Made with HDPE #2 plastic and an antimicrobial
So many childrens’ products are made with plastics of dubious safety, so I was very happy to see that this is made of HDPE #2 (like many plastic milk jugs). I don’t think I’ll be disposing of this any time soon, but when I do, it can be recycled. Unfortunately, this has a “SMART PLASTIC Antimicrobial” added to it. I would prefer to rely on cleaning to an anti-bacterial chemical (they don’t say it protects against viral growth).This measures just over 19” in diameter and is about 3” thick. It’s very sturdy, as evidenced by its 5 pound weight.It has a pleasing wobble, but isn’t difficult to sit still on, if that is what the sitter wants to do.But that’s JustMe. (I received this product in exchange for an honest review, and that is what I have offered here.)
