Great for the Ends of My Hair
I blow dry my hair and stop when its damp but not too damp. Then I rub this stuff on my hands and smooth it over the last 3 inches of my hair. It causes all the split ends to smooth down and the ends all stay together so I don’t have “Hag Hair”. Added Bonus: Then when I blow dry the ends with my round brush, it holds a subtle curl. Love this stuff.

This is FABULOUS!!!!!! FYI.. it is NOT a straight essential oil…
This is calendula oil DILUTED in organic OLIVE OIL,,, it is NOT, nor does it claim to be 100% pure calendula essential oil like some people have mistakenly assumed it was… and then they rated it lower because of THEIR mistake saying the product description was misleading :(. If you READ the ingredients you will SEE it is DILUTED in a CARRIER OIL (in this case, organic olive oil). Buying 100% calendula essential oil would cost a small fortune, but if that’s what you want then don’t buy this & whine it isn’t what you thought it was. That said, this stuff is FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!! It works VERY well for many things from SHINGLES, diaper rash, other rashes, varicose veins, dry skin, chapped / cracked lips, acne, cuts, scrapes, burns, etc. Do BE AWARE that this has an orange-yellow-gold TINGE to it, so it is best applied to the face, lips, etc. when you are STAYING HOME, before bed, etc. I did NOT have an issue with it staining our sheets, etc. Also, if you use this around your eyes, It WILL burn your eyes if if gets into your eyes, just like any oil will.Do keep in mind that you should NOT use this if you are pregnant! While it is safe & natural, there are specific times when even natural things aren’t ideal / safe to use. I have used it when nursing & on my nursling too, but not while pregnant. My understanding of the pregnancy contraindication is that because it promotes such rapid healing, & the skin is the largest organ of the body and whatever is applied to the skin goes into the bloodstream very quickly, it would quickly go into an unborn baby, which is best avoided because with all of the development & changes going on in an unborn baby’s body, you would not want to use something that could cause something to fuse, form, not form, etc. when it wasn’t meant to.This is also GREAT for ear infections (1-4 drops in an ear- 1-2 for a baby / child and 2-4 for an adult ear) in that is both soothing & promotes rapid healing.I WOULD purchase this again & I will keep this stocked in my cabinet for any skin issues (I read it can also be used internally, but I haven’t tried it for that purpose).

Cured my facial rosacea and breakouts
I have a shelf of multiple products I bought to calm down my face irritation of rosacea and pimple breakouts. As a fluke I decided to try just putting this oil on my face right out of the bottle. I wasn’t sure if this is intended to be put full strength – but since it is diluted with oil, it seemed reasonable. I started by putting it on and night and I’d wake up and face would be calm. Now I use it every morning (since at night I was concerned it might just rub off onto my pillow cases and be wasted). The years of breakouts I’ve had finally have a solution. No itching, no breakouts. No dryness. The best surprise – it gives your face a nice looking tan. I saw online that it is also has a some sunscreen properties. So, you can get a fake tan and also protect yourself from the sun at the same time (!) My only suggestion is to make sure you “feather it in” like paint. Once you rub in into your face, rub the edges a little beyond your hairline and down your neck so you don’t have a “Line” of color. Your hands might look stained after – but if you just rub them together like you would lotion – it disappears. It’s not really a dye – it’s more subtle – like skin food that soaks in. Some people here say it smells weird, but it just smells earthy. I’d rather smell that then all the overly perfumed face treatments I’ve tried that almost feel toxic to smell. This smell is very subtle and you really feel like you are putting natural plants on your face. 100% recommend this. I was actually surprised the little bottle lasted so long – a little bit goes a long way. But still I”m going to buy the large bottle now since I will probably use this for a long time – as long as my irritation stays away.

    Good, Beneficial Herbal Oil
Good calendula oil.. I just used it to mix into my Calendula-Lavender Muscle Soak, which came out well. It does have a natural herbal scent to it, but it’s not bad at all.Currently, I have dried calendula being infused into vegetable glycerin in a big jar.. It smells very similar to this calendula oil, and I realized that as long as you have the herb and some oil, it’s pretty simple to make your own infusion. So the price was not really worth it for me, since I can make a lot more oil in a fraction of the price. However, I’m reviewing the actual product here, and I find it to be a good one. It seems totally natural, and it claims to be organic, which is actually really important.Definitely worth getting- IF you don’t have calendula flowers/petals and plant-based oil yourself. Or if you just want to make things easy, as I suppose I did… I actually wanted to make sure that my flower infusion was on the right track in comparison to this product. I realized that I had nothing to worry about, but it was good for me to see what a retail organic calendula oil was like. It’s dark in color and slightly viscous, with olive oil as the base.Calendula has a lot of excellent health and skincare benefits, and I enjoy it for herbal tea. It seems like a very versatile herb, and I highly recommend trying some of your own- make sure it’s organic so you’re getting something healthy and safe, without chemicals and pesticides. This is a decent product, a very simple one as well. Easy to use for any DIY recipe.
