Great Mat at a Great Price!
This is my first yoga mat upgrade, and I am so happy I purchased it! My first yoga mat was a simple, very thin, cheap yoga mat. I was very new to the world of yoga and not sure how long I would stay engaged with it. Turns out, I loved it, and after two years, I purchased this one. The thickness and comfort was the very first thing I noticed. I had no idea how much of a difference a thicker mat like this could make. Yoga has never been more comfortable! The material feels a lot like those ‘foam puzzle piece mats that kids play with,’ so I do slide a little bit when I sweat, but the grip on the bottom side is a lot like a shoe pattern, so the mat itself is nonslip in that aspect. The guides on the mat are so helpful and keep me mindful when I start to drift too far forward or behind the mat. I know the color isn’t important, but they really are beautiful! Do be sure to wash your mat down with a wet wash cloth; I didn’t wash mine down right away because I was so excited, and my sensitive skin broke out due to whatever the material is treated with. I would definitely recommend this mat to anyone progressing to their next level of yoga, who want comfort and durability, at a great price! I did lots of research before I purchased this, and after using it for a couple months, I would definitely buy it again, but I don’t think I’ll need to because it is very well made and I can tell it will last me a long time!

Great mat!! – very comfortable, no odor
Love love love this yoga mat! I really like that it’s longer and a bit wider than standard mats, I feel like I have enough room to properly exercise and not feel like I’m gonna go off my mat. On that note, I find it to be adequately non-slip, even when my hands or feet get a little sweaty (which is pretty much every time I work out or do yoga). The back of the mat is a different, “heftier” texture which helps it from sliding. It’s also the perfect thickness. I have RA so I wanted a thicker mat to add more cushion. So far I haven’t felt any discomfort from it being too thick or thin.I wanted to do yoga while in Europe this past March and it was very easy to carry my mat around with me. It came with a Velcro strap and cord for carrying which works well and held up through lots of traveling; I had a cloth bag that was large enough to fit the rolled-up mat in, so I tucked in the edges and put the cord and strap around it. I’ll probably purchase a real yoga mat carrying bag soon but for now this works.Some reviewers mention an odor when they first received their mat but mine had none whatsoever.I ordered the green turquoise and it’s really a beautiful color. It makes me feel motivated to exercise, it’s a strong and uplifting color but not too bright.Overall I’m very pleased with this mat. It’s a great price too, I’d buy it again.

Very practical, nice and soft to use. Like the cord design which holds it together.

I wanted to treat myself to a new yoga mat as I’ve increased my practice and my mat is leaving bits behind everywhere I go.This mat has far superior grip than my old ‘sticky’ mat, being 6mm it is super spongy so I no longer double up.The markings are a great help for self alignment, bringing awareness to your practice.This mat is also stated as eco friendly which is always a good thing.I purchased the turquoise colour which is nice and vibrant, was a tough call as I like all the others too.I hope it wears well.***Edit**I have used this at three different classes now; wood, tile and painted floors and it is super grippy and spongy on all.I haven’t yet tried folding it over for inversions, we’ll have to see if it stays, as it likes being out flat since it’s so thick.
