EFFECTIVE COMBINATION: Most Vit D3+K2 supplements are too weak to reach optimal blood levels. Our physicians have found that Vit D3 in a daily dose between 1000IUs and 5000IUs is usually not enough. We also believe that Vitamin K2 should be taken with D3 for stronger bones and healthy arteries.
USED CLINICALLY: Recommended every day by Integrative Medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Our healthcare providers regularly check lab work to ensure absorption and appropriate blood levels.
BONE HEALTH: Vitamin D3 and K2 are critically important for strong bones. Vitamin D helps to absorb Calcium from supplements and food into the bloodstream and Vitamin K2 shuttles the Calcium to the bones.
IMMUNITY: Vitamin D3 and K2 also help to promote a healthy immune system. Research indicates that Vitamin D helps your immune system to be strong and ready to fight.
CARDIOVASCULAR: Vitamin K2 helps to control calcium build up and makes sure it gets out of the bloodstream and into the bones making it an incredibly important vitamin.

Helpful size pills
I highly recommend reading the book, “Vitamin K2 and the Calcium Paradox.” The information in that book has helped me improve my health. Most of the K2 pills are only 100 mcg’s and yet the author of the book states that in Canada the recommended daily amount is over 100 mcg’s and the amount the author recommends for those patients who are diabetic, pre-diabetic or overweight (240 mcg’s) is important. Be sure to take the same amount of Vit A and D3 each day. Doctor’s in US only spend one semester studying vitamins and apparently in the US we don’t understand the importance of taking more than one vitamin a day. I no longer have any signs of the 2 blood clots I had in 2014. You can’t take Vitamin K2 and blood thinners at the same time. Do yourself a favor–start taking the vitamins before you have serious medical problems. By the way, I did get the KIndle version of the book, and then ordered the paperback because I wanted to take notes. If more people take these vitamins health in the US would change an incredible amount–and it will be possible to do so with vitamins instead of prescription drugs. I have been taking Vitamin K2, and the same amount of Vitamins A and D3 for over a year now, and while I wish I had been taking them before I had the blood clots, and I am thankful that I have no sign of blood clots now. If a woman is on the right amount of vitamins throughout her pregnancy, the babies teeth will come in straight (No braces–that pays for the vitamins), the mother’s labor will be easier, Type 2 diabetes can be reversed, Alzheimer’s prevented, and many more benefits.

So far, Good
I was told to take Vit D3. An article I read online said that Vit D needs adequate amounts of Vit K2 for proper effectiveness of the D3. I have been taking the combo for only a couple of weeks. Do I feel any different? No, can’t say I do. The test will be next year when I have a bone density test. The hoped for result will be better absorption of calcium for denser bone mass. I chose this brand in part because of the quantity of K2 – 175mg – at a reasonable price. The capsules are very easy to swallow by the way.

Like the product, hate that the price has doubled!
Years ago I was prescribed calcium by my doctor to help stave off osteoporosis. I researched and found that if I take calcium I also needed D3. And K2 MK-7 helps me absorb the D3. I researched different K2 formulations and decided on this product, Health as it Ought to Be K2 MK-7, as the K-2 to take to supplement the D3 and Calcium I have to take. I was impressed with their claims of quality, and that it does not contain K1 or MK4. Have been taking it for years now and have been very satisfied with it. I have no empirical evidence on what affect it has on my body, but from the aspects of it I can report on, I’m happy. What I don’t like when I just reordered, was that the price has doubled since the last time I placed an order! I assume this is a result of the shut-down for the last year, but it was still a shock. I hope as the panic from the virus subsides that the price will become reasonable again.
