Good for the Echinacea – not so sure about other ingredients
Good for the echinacea, but I’m not sold on the other ingredients.Benefits of Goldenseal are not confirmed by clinical groups, so I’m not sold on that. The NIH says that Goldenseal should not be taken by pregnant or lactating women. And these capsules should not be taken by those younger than 18 years old without clinical guidance. Additionally, if you are taking the drug, Metformin, the NIH warns against taking Goldenseal.The ingredien:ts are:Echinacea, 300 mgGoldenseal, 400 mAND there is a proprietary group of natural products, 300 mg I often have a concern about such proprietary mixes because the user does not know the percentages of each individual item. This means that the manufacturer may change the portions at any time. So a user may respond differently to a reformulated mix and not know why. The user has the right to know what he/she is taking.So I can’t fully support this product. It may work quite well for some people, but it could also be a shot in the dark.

This seems to be a quality supplement and these are ingredients that I personally have included in my health routine for many years. My only complaint with this particular product is that they do not list the precise amounts of each ingredient in their “proprietary blend,” so I don’t know how much I am getting with each dose. Otherwise, I am pleased with this product and I personally have not noticed any ill effects from taking it. Please speak with a trusted medical professional before taking any new supplement, though.
