Great part, will be easier to replace in the future if needed!
We’ve had our Peloton bike for quite a few years. The other day when the Mrs. went to adjust the seat forward, we discovered that the spring-loaded ratchet adjustment handle thingy had apparently stripped out. Instead of the screw turning, it just sort of bump-bump-bumped along and pfffft, nothing. We tried grabbing onto the thing with grips but there is a plastic sleeve over the actual bolt that just sort of spun around. No joy.So we determined it would need replacement. Needless to say, Peloton wanted a few bucks plus shipping for their replacement part so we came to Amazon where lo and behold there was a replacement for less bucks and shipped with our Prime. We ordered it up and upon arrival it more or less consisted of the handle with no documents or anything. So I got to swapping the old one out, here’s how it went.Removing the old handle was a bit messy. Channel lock pliers didn’t do the trick. The old handle would turn back and forth but the inner metal bolt was stuck fast. So I went out into the garage and brought back the rotary tool with a cutoff wheel. By making a couple slices I was able to pry the handle itself off. In addition to the handle there is a spring and an internal retainer that pop out when the handle comes off. Mine only flew about 4 feet, your mileage may vary. At that point I could see a little flattened area at the head of the metal screw but it would not budge. So back in with the rotary tool to cut away the collar / spacer between the head of the screw and the seat frame. Once THAT was carved out of the way, I was able to firmly grasp the old screw with the pliers and turn it loose.Installing the new handle was as easy as just screwing it in. It sugs down just like the old one, where you can pull the handle outwards to position it for leverage and so you won’t get snagged mounting and dismounting. I thought about maybe using an anti-seize on the threads but decided not to since I didn’t want t have the handle accidentally back out. Besides, one really great feature fo the new handle (one that Peloton should sit up and take notice of) is that instead of a smooth-topped retainer at the head of the handle, there is a hex head that, if the handle strips, you could use an allen wrench to loosen the screw. If that had just been there from the factory, I wouldn’t have had to spend 10 minutes vacuuming up plastic crumbs and debris! So if your Peloton seat adjustment gives up, this is the replacement for you!

Wrong size
This part is not the same size as the bolt on my Peloton. It’s also not the same size as the drawing which shows 0.191 inches. It is closer to 0.392 inches in diameter. The bolt under my seat is just over 0.300 inches in diameter.

This Bolt Does Not Fit
The bolt on this lever is a larger diameter than the original Peloton bolt so this is NOT a like for like replacement part and does not fit. Anyone want to buy a $10 bolt from me?

Quick / Easy Fix
My horizontal seat adjustment lever broke on my Peloton. I got this one and installed it with ease and am now able to adjust my seat. Highly recommend this for anyone with a broken seat lever and don’t want to deal with peloton support.
