Great product. Works great. Eady to use. Comfortable
Great product. Love the alert settings. Love that I can track my pulse ox levels through the night and keep records in app. Love the finger strap to hold in place. Very comfortable. Not cumbersome.

    Great Little Device
I purchased this device specifically to monitor my O2 levels while I sleep at night. From time to time, I want to monitor during waking hours, as well. It does well at both, with one small caveat. I’m including the app as part of my review because I was specifically looking for something that would work well with my phone and integrate into Apple Health. This device does both.First, the device is a good size, runs on 2 AAA batteries (4 included), and is easy to use. You just install and set up the app, put it on your finger, and it does what it does. I use it on an IOS platform, and it syncs well with Apple Health. There is a limitation with Apple Health that doesn’t allow it to store as much granular data as the EMAY App does, but it’s nice to still have it in there (Apple Health only records by the minute, while the EMAY App records by the second. I prefer “by the second).Anyway, the app is easy to set up and mostly easy to navigate. It will store the data long-term, while the device will only store up to 40 hours (this is fine with me). You can run reports in the app and keep the data indefinitely. That said, I wish there was a way to back up the EMAY data into iCloud, or something, to make sure I can keep it. Still, it goes into Apple Health, which is probably good enough, and that does go to the cloud. The device itself has a display that changes depending on how it’s oriented. In other words, the display will flip, depending on which hand it’s on and how you hold up your hand. This is a cool little feature that I really like and didn’t expect to have.My one and only one small caveat to all of this is the device will not stay on my finger at night. I have really large hands, so that could be the reason why, though I’m not so sure. One night, it was on my finger for 10 minutes before it fell off, which means it probably came off right after I fell asleep. Another night, it took about an hour. Now, the device comes with some “stickum” tape (I’m not sure what it’s called, but I’ve used it for first aid. It’s a roll that of non-sticky tape that will stick to itself, but not leave a residue on the device or anywhere else. It’s kind of like a mini ace bandage, but it sticks to itself). I have tried a couple different ways to use the tape to keep the device on my finger at night. I think I figured it out, but it uses a lot of the tape, which I don’t like. Maybe I need to mess with it some more.Even with the tape, when I look at the report, there are moments when the device loses contact with my finger. One night, it stopped monitoring altogether long enough that it shut itself off. This even though it was taped to my finger. One other thing I don’t like has to do with the app. At the time of this writing, it seems like I can only run reports on one use session at a time. I can’t select a block of sessions and run a report on that. Say, I want the whole week instead of last night only. I can’t seem to do that. It also took me a minute to figure out how to view reports in landscape mode.At any rate, it’s really nice that EMAY includes the tape, four batteries, and a small fabric case in which I can keep the monitor when not in use. Another little detail, as I mentioned, is the “flip” display. I just wish there was a better way to keep the monitor on my finger at night. I’m still giving the device a 5-star review, however if I could give it 4.7, I would, just because keeping it on my finger is a challenge overnight (it’s fine when I’m awake), and the reporting function is limited to one session at a time. All in all, I’m quite happy with the purchase and am looking forward to collecting my oxygen data at night over the long term as I try to improve my health. I’m a data hound and really like how the app, combined with Apple Health, can store my data long-term, run reports, etc, so I can have something useful to look at.

    Works well
This monitor seems to work well. You can wear it on your finger for a short period of time or overnight and send the information to the app at a later time. It does not upload to the app automatically, which means the app is not running or tracking you – just the device. I have the app on an iPad and the data transfers easily when I connect (via Bluetooth, no cable needed) You can then view the information in a graph, grouped as statistics, or as a list of individual readings. It shows your max, average and minimum sp02 and heart rate (bpm) along with other helpful statistics. If you are looking for something to test for apnea, I don’t think this will show that, but I can’t say for sure. It would show how low your oxygen went and for how long, but I don’t think it would show if you stopped breathing. This device uses regular AAA batteries. I would like it better if it could be charged. Overall I am pleased with the usefulness of this monitor. It is easy to use.

EMAY pulse oximeter with recording capability
This device works very well for monitoring oxygen saturation level and pulse rate overnight. Finger attachment is simple but effective. Has not slipped off during a week’s use. Simple to download the overnight data to your phone. Data points taken once per second and can be viewed in chart form or on a report. Meets all of my needs and very satisfied with my purchase.

    Great monitor for the $$
Accuracy is on point. Battery life is 3-5 days with 12 hour increments. Did a compare with the Wellview O2 ring and reports were identical. This monitor is best choice for lower dollars. Alarm does work. Remember there can be events that interfere with recording but still creates a good report.

    Perfect except…
I loved this item for the first 10 days. It was easy to get the information and it seemed to be pretty accurate. I was checking a mouthguard against a CPAP because MOST hate CPAP.I made sure to turn it off after downloading, yet their battery died 7 to 10 days. I upgraded to my batteries After 7 days it died again.Back to AMAZON.

A Sleep O2 Tracker That Actually Makes Sense
Let’s be honest—most sleep oxygen monitors are either a pain to use or require you to stay tethered to an app all night like some kind of lab experiment. The EMAY Sleep Oxygen Monitor actually gets it right. Record first, sync later—no need to mess with Bluetooth connections at 2 AM. Just slap it on, let it do its thing, and check the data when you’re ready. The built-in memory is solid, meaning I don’t have to worry about syncing it every single morning. It will record for forty hours and let me download the info onto the app at my leisure. The Android app is also a huge plus—I can download my sleep data and bring real numbers to my doctor instead of just saying, “I swear I wake up gasping for air.” The app also doesn’t have any annoying ads. A big bonus in my book.Another win? The rotating LCD display. No awkward neck craning or moving my finger into awkward positions just to check my numbers—who needs a chiropractor visit on top of sleep issues? Accuracy-wise, it does a great job tracking O2 levels and heart rate.Bottom line: This thing is easy, accurate, and doesn’t make you jump through hoops to use it. If you’re looking for a reliable, no-fuss way to track your oxygen levels while you sleep, this is the one to get.

This item did not work out of the box. I received some silly support from their bot so I returned it and bought an alternative product. Two months later they wont respond and no refund forthcoming.Hopefully Amazon can sort this out.

This is a quality product; it is well-made and its functionality is impressive. The Android app which you can install via the Play Store works fine on my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G and has a well-designed, easy-to-use user interface. The device clamps on a finger like the ones nurses use in hospitals and clinics. It samples SpO2 (blood oxygen level) and pulse rate each second and can store these measurements overnight while you sleep. I simply left the device on my index finger overnight in bed. A roll of black bandage is supplied but I ended up taking it off as the device stayed on my finger all night without it. The red LED light that shines through the finger did not trouble me as it is not bright, and the display itself turns off after 90 seconds anyway. The end knuckle of my index finger was a little sore the next morning where the device had been clamped on my finger, but nothing serious.Although the device has data storage capability, it can be used as a normal pulse oximeter for spot checks as well. To look at it has the appearance of a standard pulse oximeter, albeit the quality of manufacture and materials is noticeably better than a cheap standard pulse oximeter I already have. The device uses two AAA batteries. Four batteries are supplied in the box, as well as a lanyard, a little storage bag for the device, and a user manual. The user manual explains well how to use the device, and there is an e-mail address to contact the manufacturer if you have any questions or problems. I e-mailed the manufacturer with a query and they replied quickly and were helpful. The user manual estimates that a pair of AAA batteries should last for at least three 8-hour measurement periods. It is possible to view, save and e-mail a detailed PDF report showing statistics and graphs of the blood oxygen levels and pulse rates over the measurement period you have had the device on a finger. The report is impressive and looks very professional, and I would not have a problem showing it to a doctor. In my case I was worried that my blood oxygen level was dropping too low while I slept, but the report put my mind to rest. It is also possible to save or share a CSV (comma-separated values) file which you can import into a spreadsheet if you want to examine or analyse the data yourself. The only things that I found that could be improved are: a) sometimes deleting the data stored on the device took a few attempts; b) the user manuals that can be viewed in the app could do with being zoom-able, as the text displayed on a smartphone is tiny (a printed user manual is supplied as well in any case); c) I could not find a way of deleting a user. I do not consider these significant problems, though.Overall I am very impressed with this device.

This is a high quality well made device unlike some of the more budget oxygen monitor. It opens like a clothes peg and you insert your finger, it automatically begins recording until the finger is removed. The jaws are not too tight that it cuts off circulation and there’s no danger of it falling off, I think it’s due to the non slip type material in contact with the finger. You can get instant readings by looking at the display and you can also connect it to your phone via bluetooth for more comprehensive reports/graphs. These timelined graphs are ideal when leaving the device on overnight, you can clearly see your heart rate and Sp02 for the entire night. The phone app is easy to install and it connects to the device automatically.Reports can be generated easily and shared via email with your GP, see image attached of a report I generated.Overall I’d highly recommend it for ease of use, features and build quality.

I am happy to report that the Oximeter is working extremely well.I elected for your product specifically because it can record readings continuously rather than most meters which only show a measurement at a specific moment in time.I should explain that I suffer from Obstructive Sleep Apnoea and use a CPAP machine overnight. I hadsuspected for some time that once I was asleep my breathing became very shallow and thus my O2 statsdropped and the fact that I could record this and more download it and send it to my consultant has been most helpful. I am waiting for my next appointment at Leicester when we can discuss the findings and plan accordingly. The only slight issue I have encountered is that sometimes during sleep the normal movement of yourhands can cause the meter to move just enough so that it thinks you have taken it off and the readings stop, possibly an on/off switch that you need to actually switch off rather than an “auto off” would solve this but it is a minor issue.
