I ordered Dr. Stevens’ DHT Blocker Supplement to help with hair regrowth. My main goal is to see if it can help my hair grow back and if it’s comparable to Finasteride, which I’m also taking. It’s tough to gauge how effective it is on its own, given that I’m using both, but the idea behind it is solid—blocking DHT hormones can help create an environment that lets your hair follicles thrive and potentially regrow hair.As for results, I can’t speak to it directly yet. Saw Palmetto Helped Before
I’ve only just received and started taking this hair growth supplement, but I have hopes that it will help with my menopausal hair loss. I’ve taken saw palmetto supplements in the past and saw some improvement, but I’ve found that it really needs to be taken consistently and if you stop, the hair loss resumes. The supplements I took in the past didn’t contain pumpkin seed or stinging nettle, and I actually wasn’t aware that they were recommended for hair loss but I’m looking forward to seeing if this supplement with them in addition to the saw palmetto makes any difference. So far, I can say that these pills look almost exactly like the saw palmetto supplements I’ve taken in the past – clear gel capsules filled with a grey/green powder. They’re about the size of your average pain reliever or cold remedy capsule. Easily swallowed with a glass of water with no weird aftertaste and I haven’t noticed any side effects whatsoever. Pricewise, they’re quite a bit more expensive than the plain saw palmetto supplement I used to buy but perhaps it’s justified with the additional ingredients. Looking forward to positive results – fingers crossed!

My naturopath tested my blood and said I should take Saw Palmetto and Stinging Nettle Root for my hair loss, which this formulation contains. I like that this formulation is overseen by a medical doctor. I will come back and update, as I know it will take some time as results won’t be seen immediately.There’s one funny thing about the bottle. It says it contains “Green Team Extract 4:1”. I think they mean Green TEA Extract…. which matters to me as I’m so sensitive to caffeine that I need to take this in the morning if it truly is Green Tea.Anyway, happy to take this, and no bad fillers like Magnesium Stearate… The capsules are normal sized. Easy to take. No yucky taste.
