Newbie discovers an great old remedy!
I’d heard that iodine would make skin tags disappear, reduce small squamous lesions, rashes, and other problematic skin aliments, but didn’t want to wear brown stains all day. Then I heard about white iodine! As a person with chronic Lyme disease, (I’m not a doc, only an experienced Lymie lab-rat) I’ve discovered that lots of old-fashioned remedies (that can’t be patented or profited from) are actually safer and more effective than the big-pharma nostrums, without the scary ‘black box’ warnings. It seems that this is true for iodine! In just a week, some troubling chronic rashes on my face are diminishing daily, and some some lesions on the back of my hand are shrinking noticeably. I put the iodine in a glass roll-on bottle and apply as often as I remember, with no unsightly stains, and I’m thrilled by this new discovery of an old-fashioned remedy. Now I’m going to research ALL the good things it does and join an iodine yahoo group to learn from others as well.

Love this
Hi I had a small problem with the bottle having less than 4oz. The bottle is only about 70% full even with a full 4 oz in it, so don’t panic if it seems it may have lost some if it’s contents. It would be nice if the label stated the percentage of iodine so one could determine the value of the product compared to some other products which state percentage. Other than that, it seems to be a great product to have on hand. I recceommend it highly as something cancer patients should research.Iodine may heal actinic keratoses when applied a few times per day. I sometimes add ionic silver, artemisinin, and DMSO but wouldn’t advise anyone else to do this. You might do your own research and then find a doctor who has knowledge of these healing aids to help you with treatment.

Concentration level too low
The concentration level was too low for my purpose. I needed it for an experiment for my elementary students. We were all very disappointed….

Dr Clark isn’t as nice as Living Well
I purchased this product through Amazon fulfilled by living well and after a few weeks a white/black precipitate formed on the bottom of the bottle. I contacted the Dr Clark store to simply ask if the stuff was safe to use and they recommended that I contact the Amazon vendor who sold me the iodine. Was I wrong to contact the manufacturer for more info on their product? The Dr Clark Store thinks so. Luckily, Living Well were very nice and offered to replace it and frankly I did not want that result, simply Clark’s answer to my original question!

probably okay but not a cure for me
I like using iodine on cuts, I think its some of the best but most overlooked antiseptic for general use, maybe because of its staining so this product might work just fine, the product arrived on time and is what I ordered. I wanted it because I picked up a itchy scalp possibly from where I would get my haircut, I no longer go there and cannot prove that is where I picked up my condition. When this didn’t seem to work I used what has worked for me for athletes foot and other conditions, a 10% bleach solution brushed on with a new toothbrush, the itchy scalp and raised patchy areas have disappeared.

White Iodine
My wife swears by this stuff for abrasions, cuts, burns & nail problems, as it’s clear color leaves no stains, no smell and works quickly and you use very little, a few drops. She put some in a small spray bottle & used it undiluted on scraped knees and for a sunburn with no discomfort. I think one reason is it doesn’t contain ammonia or alcohol. She put some in our emergency kit because its “food grade” & can be used internally a few drops with water for radiation poisoning and to purify water in a pinch, I personally don’t know about the last two items.

cooking beans peas etc.
Soak over night, drain, soak another hour add 4-5 drops. After the hour drain and rinse well. Cook for an hour. I have found that these directions qualify for quality bean pot. Add onions carrots garlic and season to taste.
