Perfect
These work great. Citrate form of Calcium absorbs well. Just add some magnesium and K2 with it and get a little sun and your good to go.

Great for anyone on corticosteroids or anyone with sarcoid
This is a great Calcium supplement for anyone with any auto-immune disease, but particularly for sarcoid. The administration of moderate to high doses of corticosteroids is associated with bone loss. Since Prednisone or other corticosteroids is the primary form of treatment for Sarcoid, it’s important to get calcium. However, Sarcoid (and other auto-immune diseases) also makes your stomach so much more sensitive to so many supplements. Calcium Citrate is one of the most easily tolerated/digested forms of calcium. Most importantly, for someone with Sarcoid, it’s important to avoid Vitamin D, as Sarcoid converts inactive Vitamin D to its active form. This is the single best calcium supplement I have found for someone with sarcoid. Actually, it is the ONLY calcium supplement I found to have been independently verified by a lab (Consumerlab.com) to contain exactly what it says, to not upset the stomach, and that does NOT contain Vitamin D. Unless they go changing things, this is the calcium supplement I will be taking for the rest of my life.

Needed more calcium
I started taking these at the recommendation of a nutritionist to help with my oxalate sensitivity. I also don’t eat dairy, so this is a great way for me to get my calcium without stomach upset. I only take 2 a day.

RELIABLE COMPANY FOR CALCIUM SUPPLEMENTS
Research recommends that this form of calcium supplement is more readily absorbed than some other sources. Shall have to wait for next bone density test to know if it has been of help with my osteoporosis. Calcium supplements should be taken with vitamin D because it allows the calcium to be absorbed. Some research recommends magnesium as well, but this is still in early stages of research. Anyone who wishes to take any supplement should consult with a physician, and be aware that there can be some unwanted drug interactions, but calcium (especially for women) is thought to be safe (not if you have kidney stones). Consumer’s Lab is a legitimate and very useful site for information regarding vitamins and supplements, and they test products for safety and efficacy (consumer lab.com).

Cheap and effective
My only concern is that some people may have difficulty solving your other large hard pill, but it is a highly soluble form of calcium.

Simply Calcium
I chose this product because I wanted just a calcium supplement. This was rather difficult to find because the majority of companies want to pair it off with other supplements like vitamin D and magnesium. The issue for me is, I already have just a vitamin D supplement, so I don’t any excess vitamin D. This product filled that void perfectly. I also like that it comes in a 250 mg per pill dosage, makes much easier adjust the amount I want to take daily. The pills are rather large. I take 3 at a time, but swallowing pills has never really been an issue for me.

Calcium citrate WITHOUT vitamin D – hard to find!!
I totally understand the importance of taking vitamin D along with calcium, but I prefer to take the vitamin D separately so that I can decide how much D to take and when to take it. Almost all calcium citrate tablets on the market include the vitamin D right in the tablet, and I was looking all over for a product that was just the calcium citrate without the vitamin D. I was almost ready to give up when I finally found this product on Amazon– I was so happy! I’ve ordered it several times now, and am very pleased with it. I hope Douglas Labs will continue to sell this product so that those of us who prefer to determine our own separate dosing of vitamin D can have the option to do that. Thanks, Douglas Laboratories!
