Dog can stop on their own, this is an excellent tool.
My shy lab is doing really very well with this machine. We did 2 introduction sessions with the machine at full friction (stopped). I taught her how to stop on her own (bring their head up, she naturally stops walking and the belt slows to a stop). On, good girl, down. Back on, hook up. Down, back on and start walking slowly. She was stiff at first, but figured it out very quickly. I was at the handle and my knee was at the belt to add friction incase she got out of hand. She lost control a couple times, but now she knows how to do it after 2 sessions. Lots of treats. She is here walking beside me. She knows she can run, walk or stop. Her being able to stop on her own was very important to me.Assembly was straight forward but there are no instructions if you need to adjust anything (I haven’t needed to). The 2 wrenches don’t fit any hardware that I’ve seen.The packaging was great except the hardware. Its adhesive-vacuum sealed, then taped, then sealed and taped again.. it’s out of control. Very difficult to get the hardware out. Made me mad. LolOtherwise, no scratches or anything. The acrylic was flawless. The end caps were pushed in, but it’s not a big deal. They still seal the ends.Easy assembly if you can lift ~70lbs otherwise grab an assistant. It’s very heavy.

Great investment for dog
The installation wasn’t too difficult, especially with the helpful video provided by the seller—it made the process much smoother. I love the built-in brake for added safety, and the plastic running track looks so much more premium and durable compared to wooden ones. My dog loves it, and so do I!

Great bang for the buck
I’m really impressed with this Dog Treadmill. The quality is excellent, and it was easy to set up. My Husky (who weighs around 60 pounds) took to it right away and loves running on it. It’s a great way to keep them active, especially when outdoor runs aren’t possible. The slat design is gentle on their joints while still providing a solid workout. A must-have for any dog owner looking to keep their pet in top shape!
