MAY CAUSE NIACIN FLUSH, But it’s ok!!!
I, like others, began to experience a full-body flush when I took this. It’s actually good for you, look up “Niacin flush.” If you aren’t into that, don’t take this, but this supplement has done as it’s supposed to. My cholesterol is decreasing!

Beware!!! This product has changed!
I’ve purchased this 7 times. I even put it on auto-ship so I could stock up. I recently had a severe reaction-hot, itchy, stinging rash head to toe. I almost called 911. I’ve never had a reaction like that to anything! I decided to wait it out (while making sure my throat didn’t start to swell!) and it went away in about 45 minutes or so. I had no idea what caused it, since I only took the same meds and supplements I take every single day. The next day, same thing, but it wasn’t quite as bad. The next day, same thing again!! Not quite as bad as the day before, but still!! Finally I just stopped all my supplements to see if maybe it was one of them. Went 4 days with no reaction. I started adding them back one by one and sure enough, when I added this one back, another reaction!Why would this happen after taking them for 5 months unless they changed something or they made a bad batch? I did notice when I opened these that they looked different. The color was more orange than before, but I didn’t think anything about it. So now I’m stuck with this almost full bottle, and another completely full bottle, which I opened to see if they, too were the new color. They are!I’M NOT HAPPY about $50 down the drain!! I also just ordered a different supplement for my husband from this company, but now I don’t want him to take those either! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

Product formula change??
I love this supplement and just started my 3rd bottle when after taking the “new bottle” product I had a reaction of turning red, “flushing” itching and tingling…I am thinking the formula has changed? More niacin added? I didn’t keep the old bottles to compare?

Unfortunately I had a allergic reaction to the red yeast rice & had to stop taking it. My skin started feeling prickly, then it got really hot,my skin turned red all over & was extremely itchy. I looked up reactions to red yeast rice & it said rash,itchy & hives….this lasted probably 45 minutes then went away

Ive been taking Red Yeast Rice for several years due to its benefits, as part of a vitamin regimen. Recently I decided to change brands and try this one. Although the other brand was available in a larger container, and had some good ingredients, I decided to try this brand because of additional ingredient and their benefits. Two of those are D3 and K2 (Mk7). You can find info elsewhere on benefit of these two vitamins. Since these two ingredients are included in the formulation, I’ve been able to quit taking those vitamins separately.. I have seen desired results of regimen in lab work.
