I use this as a part of many different supplements because I’m male and I guess you could say on midlife I’m not too young not too old but personally this is a supplement that every man both young and old could be taking and middle-aged like me and it’s very high quality you can just tell sometimes whether it’s good quality or mediocre and this is good quality

You get so many capsules for a very affordable price. You get 240 capsules and a serving is 2, so you get 120 servings.I bought these for someone who has to use the bathroom multiple times each night. They also have anxiety which makes them have to go several times right before leaving the house. It might not solve the problem completely but they can definitely cut down on the number of trips to the bathroom.I also take these myself because they have good benefits for men. The capsules are also smaller than usual so they are easier to swallow.

A truly remarkable, and fast, benefit
I’m a 70-year old with an enlarged prostate. I sought out pygeum bark because Dr. Mark Moyad in his book on supplements said there was clinical evidence of its effectiveness for BPH. I tried Carlyle’s Pygeum 500mg product for several months. The bottle suggested 2 capsules/day, so that meant 1000mg/day of pygeum bark/day. In the end I could detect absolutely no benefit, in fact no consequence at all of any kind, from taking that supplement. I gave it a 1-star review on amazon. Then I saw that Carlyle had this, different, Pygeum supplement, “Standardized Pygeum” 100mg. As you can see from one of the amazon images, it says on the bottle that it is “standardized to 12.5 percent phytosterols.” The suggested dose is 1 or 2/day, and I decided to begin by trying 2/day. By the third day I noticed a dramatic change in my urination. The velocity increased by at least a factor of three, as in urination took about a third or less of the time than it has for many years. If anything I am under-estimating these numbers. This has continued every day since. It’s as if my urination has been turbo-charged. Also, I now usually do not have to get up to urinate during the night, and when I do, it’s just once. For me this is a dramatic improvement. Of course all this is anecdotal, not scientific, evidence. There may be some other causal factor, or factors, in play that I am unaware of. But I can’t myself think of anything that has changed in my life in this period that could account for these remarkable developments. I will return to update this review in a month or so to report on whether this benefit has persisted. But for now, even though it might reasonably seem premature to do so, I feel the situation warrants my giving this product 5 stars.UPDATE 12-4-18: This product is still performing as described above. When after a couple weeks I dropped down from 2 capsules a day to 1 capsule a day, I didn’t notice any change in the benefit. I continue to take 1 capsule a day.UPDATE 3-28-20: This product is still effective, but at some point last year, in order to maintain its effectiveness, I had to change to taking 2 capsules a day. There have never been any side effects I can detect.
