The clean source, trusted company, and dosage of Omega-3s is what makes this item top notch in fish oil lines. If you don’t know what a high-quality fish oil supplement can do for you, do a little bit of research on Omega 3 and you’ll see what all the rave is about. Omega 3s, in a nutshell, keep inflammation down to a point. Recovery in fitness is faster and overall health (skin, mood, mental, physical) is improved. I’m not a doctor so check with your physician before supplementing.Carlson’s ELITE fish oil is from the deep sea of Norway. Their fish oil is constantly being tested for any contaminants (such as mercury and others) which is a must. I believe Carlsons and another Norwegian company have that part down to a science and their reviews from others show for it. Now dosage, FDA recommends 1000mg of fish oil in your daily diet, but if you look at what people are taking as supplement the popular dosage seem to be in the 2500-4000mg per day. Certain northern hemispherical Native Americans have been known to consume up to 10,000mg of fish oil daily from fish with no ill consequences, so I believe at 1/4 to 1/2 that should be OK for the most part. You might want to increase dosage gradually over 2 weeks to allow yourself to get accustomed, otherwise your movements may be on the loose side if you go up too quickly. With these pills, you won’t have to take ridiculous amounts of pills because the dosage is high per pill (difference between their super and elite fish oils). These are also lemon flavored, so in the case that you might get fish burps, it’s not terrible. If you want absolute no fish burps, get enteric coated fish oils. However, people have reported no fish burps with this product. I myself, have minimal fish burps but I believe the burps is from the food I take with the pill and not the pill itself.Do yourself a favor and start supplementing, specially if you don’t get a lot of fish in your diet. Omega 3, from their natural source, should be a staple. Low inflammation, increased physical efficiency by helping lower inflammation, healthier skin, better B. movements, etc.

I’m switching to these capsules instead of Bodyvega because these capsules are IFOS approved, meaning they meet or exceed the listed dosages of what’s advertised, per capsule. Also, they’re TG instead of EE which means they last longer and absorb better. Plus, it’s at a great price point.A large chunk of fish oil pills on the market are not IFOS approved, meaning you’re getting sometimes a significantly less amount of actual omega-3 oils than what is claimed on the bottle. Those are just a waste of money.*Update* After having taken these for some time…. these actually helped lower my triglyceride levels from over 580 average to around 380. Still ridiculously terrible, BUT I had never been that low on ANY OTHER fish oil pill. If I were to exercise like I’m supposed to, I figure I could get within normal levels. But I also did notice something that has been bugging me for a while. I have a patch of eczema on my knuckle that I never could really get to go away. After I started taking these, my eczema has almost completely disappeared. the overall size has shrunk, the intensity of the scaling has lessened dramatically, AND I have yet to have to put anymore cream on it to control the itching.I also started using a tea tree oil soap, so that might be affecting it as well, BUT I did start noticing improvement BEFORE starting the tea tree soap, so I have every reason to believe this by itself was helping the eczema.I normally take 2-3 a day, and also add in a flax seed oil pill to help finish off the last bit of required omega-3’s per day, which my doctor says is about 4,000mg per day. The biggest complaint my doctor had about this though, was the EPA and DHA were too close together, he would prefer more EPA and less DHA. I still think these are much better quality than the ones he recommended, which were EE based, as I had tried them before and results were negligible, but I have noticed an improvement overall with these.

I hate fish oil but this stuff seems ok. I do burp it up a little but the taste is lemony. Seems like a fresh oil, high-quality oil.I like that Carlson Elite Omega-3 Gems are regularly tested (using AOAC international protocols) by a FDA-registered laboratory. The oil has been determined to be fresh, fully potent, and free of detrimental levels of mercury, cadmium, lead, PCB’s and 28 other contaminants. It is important to chose a fish oil that is fresh. Otherwise it can actually be a detriment to your health.This is one of the more affordable fish oils on the AOAC list.However, I can’t tell if it is actually doing anything beneficial for my body. Let’s hope so.

I’ve been using these gelcaps for many years. I learned a trick many years ago that I still use. I store them in the refrigerator. That eliminates any burps with any fishy taste. But with these products, even if you’ve stored them outside the refrigerator they don’t seem to cause burping or fishy smell kickback. There are most definitely other products that are less expensive, but these have really good quality control and excellent ratios so I will continue using this brand.

Most fish oil on the market is oxidised/rancid which is extremely unhealthy, in fact toxic. This brand has zero fishy odour or fishy burps, which means it’s almost definitely fresh. Since I don’t eat any fish, taking these is the only way I can get adequate omega-3 fatty acids. The only drawback is that they are expensive, but you pay for quality. Sadly, they are not always in stock but that is not the brand’s fault. Best fish oil I’ve found in decades. I take 4 capsules daily. Even higher doses are still safe and can be used to treat a variety of mental issues. One of the most important nutrients that most of us are deficient in, and personally I don’t trust the algae oil. I prefer to eat as our ancestors did – or as much as I can with my hatred for the taste of fish and seafood!

Ich habe Stunden im Web zugebracht um vernünftige Omega 3 zu finden. Es sollte insbesondere frei von Schwermetallen sein. Außerdem mit einer Tablette den Tagesbedarf decken und ein gutes Verhältnis der beiden Fettsäuren EPA und DHA aufweisen.Diese hier hat Amazon leider NICHT von selber in seiner Suche ausgeworfen. Ich habe den Tipp erst in einem Forum gefunden. Versand hat trotzdem geplatt. Ich verspüre eine positive Wirkung z.B. beim Einschlafen.Störendes Fisch-Aroma? Ein wenig, wenn man genau darauf achtet, aber weit weg davon, ein Problem zu sein.Größter Nachteil: Sehr sehr große Dragees. Die größten, die ich jemals zu mir nehmen musste/wollte. Ich habe normalerweise keinerlei schwierigkeiten Tabeletten runterzubekommen. Aber die hier machen echt Mühe.
