Good product for home
Arrived on-time and I’m a professional welder so I can tell you that the welds at the joints were “good” (i.e. no undercut, porosity, overhand | appearance of good penetration, heat, distance, and speed of wire-feed, etc…). Very easy to assemble and all components were in good shape and present.Back in the day CAP had a large market push for 1″ bars for 1″ plate holes so I have a lot of that equipment. The bar and plate holders for the back are for 2″ bars and plates though so I don’t really have a use for them now since I found this the most affordable and reliable for front/back squatting at home. Would have been nice if there were a rack like this but for 1″ equipment but no biggie. I may purchase an EZ bar with the accompanying 2″ plates later for triceps extensions, shoulder raises, and curls but I don’t need that for now. Finally, I’m 6’1” | 175lbs and the pull-up bar is perfect for me for any kind of hang-man ab-work, pull-ups’, chin-ups, etc. I’m all about high intensity weightlifting so adding this equipment to my personal fitness arsenal. (e.g. Widow-maker back squat set (20 sec rest) + straight leg deadlift (20 sec rest) + dumbbell press (full rest until HR < 120 bpm - start drop-set back squat + reg. deadlift, etc.)Very grateful for a solid rack to allow me to back squat at home

Sturdy, compact, practical, and stable. Looks nice too.
Sturdy, compact, practical, and stable. Looks nice too. I could swing a bit on the pull up bar and it didn’t budge a bit. I did not try purposefully swinging about a crazy amount because the room it’s in is small and there are windows. It took me about 2 hours to put together not because it’s was difficult to understand, there were simply a fair amount of steps. I am very happy with the quality and results as this is a great help to being a beginning weightlifter although my ultimate goal is to bulk up and buy a Smith Machine (which costs much more) and take this outside to have more unrestrained fun with the pull-up bar.A++++++I’ll add reviews of the add-ons to this product here, as and if I buy them.a) Cap Barbell Safety Catches / Spotter ArmsI got the red ones as red is a warning color and reminder. They are heavy duty, painted with thick enamel, and have no rust. The thin rubber pads on the top surface are glue to the painted metal and mostly stuck, but not completely, no problem though as they were screwed into the safety catches so they won’t come off regardless.I’m happy they were available as I am weak and have no spotter. These are a must to protect me.

Incredible value
Having the ability to squat and bench at home for just over $100 is an insane value. While this isn’t your dream rack, it works fine and gets you in the door while you save for something nicer. The fit and finish are nicer than I expected at the price point. I don’t keep any weight on the weight storage horn, but the bar storage cup gets a lot more use than I expected. Putting 4 stars because the j-cups are just painted steel and tear up your bar, but nicer 2×2 cups are easy to find and won’t break the bank. My only concern long-term is the 2-piece uprights, but so far they have remained sturdy with up to 225lbs on the rack, and if they loosen I’ll just upgrade to a Titan X-3.

Gets the job done
Cheap, easy to put together, and durable. What more do you want in a squat rack?

VERY STURDY
One of the biggest reasons that I chose the model was because how sturdy the reviews stated it was, especially compared to other pull up stands. (I use it for hanging leg liftsto stretch my lower back) Everything arrived in good condition, all the parts were there, and directions where good. One critique would be the direction of the standing uprights. I but one together opposite of the other and it would have been too much of a hassle to take apart and redo it. Otherwise a large sturdy stand that you don’t have to worry about tipping over or bending

Works as it should (A ratchet wrench helped a lot)
The build was definitely a two person job, I did most of it myself. The stability is pretty good and not sure if I feel comfortable putting anything more than 300 on the rack due to the wobble. You get what you pay for

Worth the money
Got mine set up in my bedroom awhile back and saw i can do a review so here I am. Got it awhile back and I use it to hold my weights so I can work on my back muscles. With spinal problems I need to keep working the muscles so I don’t have spasms going crazy. Other then that I havnt had a single problem at all and my oldest uses it alot also for pull ups and such. 2 thumbs up and a hell ya

They fit on any 2 inch square tube. Very well made and sturdy. You will bench press alone safely with these. I tested with 225lb but it would definitely withstand much more. Price is also cheap. I highly recommend if you have a 2 inch tubing bench or power rack. I drilled some 1/2 holes on mine, at desired heights and it saved me from buying a higher end power rack.

As a more mature gentleman, I now primarily concentrate on body weight exercises.I found that outdoor pull-up bars are generally flimsy in construction and as a result not very stable: unsuited to the job for which they are intended. Then I had a eureka moment and bought the super sturdy Cap Barbell Power Rack.Sometimes I even surprise myself.

This style of dip bar would work better on a 3 inch by 3 inch rack so it would be more stable. It works though.
