ACTIVE FORM CoQ10 – Bluebonnet’s Cellular Active CoQ10 Ubiquinol Vegetarian provides 100 mg of the active antioxidant form of CoQ10 (ubiquinol) rather than the oxidized form (ubiquinone), which must then be converted to ubiquinol in the body. Delivered in easy-to-swallow vegetarian softgels for maximum assimilation and nutrient absorption.
POWERFUL ANTIOXIDANT SUPPORT – Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant that has great importance as a free radical scavenger and maintaining healthy energy levels.
PICK UP WHERE NATURE LEAVES OFF – Ubiquinol supplementation can be very beneficial to athletes and seniors. CoQ10 is produced in the body but as with many body functions, aging and other stressors can affect ubiquinol levels. Situations like Intense training or certain medications can compromise the levels or production of CoQ10 in the body, as well as the conversion of ubiquinone to ubiquinol.
ONLY THE BEST INGREDIENTS – Made with exceptional raw materials to produce premium-quality, superior-purity supplements for maximum bioavailability and absorption to help achieve the desired health benefits. Each ingredient in our formulas has undergone tests to verify that they are free of microbes, pollutants, and heavy metals. Our supplements are subjected to stringent examinations for potency, uniformity, disintegration and dissolution.
ECO-FRIENDLY PRODUCTS – This product is non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, vegetarian friendly and does not contain milk, egg, fish, sugar, sodium, barley, rice, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans and sesame. Made without artificially-derived colors, flavors or sweeteners and unnecessary binders, fillers or additives to maintain nutrient integrity. Delivered in recyclable packaging.

    Blood pressure reduction
I cannot express how great this is for blood pressure. If you’ve tried everything else with no luck, give this a shot. 100mg was too much for me. It made my bp so low I was getting tired. 50mg is perfect. My bp now runs 115/70.I’ve given this to three older family memebers, the 100mg, all who have had the same great blood pressure lowering benefits. It will give you a little energy as it does speed up your mitochondrial cellular energy. It also reduced anxiety. I don’t go a day without it!I’ve also tried the NOW brand and it had absolutely no positive effect. Their capsules were a powder instead of liquid. Blue Bonnet is the best and worth the price.

Unnecessary Extra Red Color Added to the Softgels
The best thing about these Ubiquinol are first that they are the preferred form of CoQ10 for absorption (even without the pepperine added) and also especially that they are small and easy to swallow. However, that being said in their favor, I am considering switching brands next time ’round due to this brand adding unnecessary extra red dye to the gelcaps. This brand gives no explanation as to what may or may not be in that added coloring, and I believe some others have pointed out some unappealing possibilities as to what it comes from. Studies showing Ubiquinol is much better than the other more common variety of CoQ10 for absorption also show that Ubiquinol with pepperine is supposed to work even better in the medium to long run. Ubiquinol is better absorbed that the more common variety of CoQ10, even when the more common variety of CoQ10 includes pepperine, but it is optimal absorption to take the Ubiquinol with pepperine. The only big disadvantage to the Ubiquinol with added pepperine apparently is that the combination makes the softgel HUGE, and for some, uncomfortably large going down the throat. This product is definitely worth trying, experimenting with, and including in your rotation. I am glad to have it so that when I try a different brand of Ubiquinol, that includes pepperine next time, and if those softgels are too difficult to swallow because they are too large, I can always come back to these tiny softgels knowing their small size is a plus: But what a stupid mistake to add all of the extra bright red dye!

Great vegetarian option (maybe the only option)
I recently learned the CO-Q10 I had been taking for quite some time is not the most useable form (available for absorption in the body). A search for the better one, ubiquinol, that was vegetarian-friendly proved challenging in health food stores and online (they’re all gelatin caps as far as I can tell) until I came across Bluebonnet. These are vegetarian softgels. They look weird, as many have pointed out, with the odd coloring, but I’m pleased to find the ubiquinol in veg caps.3/23/20 update – received two more bottles today but this order was left in the driveway to bake in the Florida sun all afternoon. This is the first time since I’ve been a Prime member (many years) that the package wasn’t left at the front door (always shaded). New drivers in this pandemic making blunders galore.

Used it for one month, didn’t feel much difference. Also the price has doubled this time, so too expensive to keep experimenting. It was a long wait to receive the item as well.
