    Absolutely miraculous!
I have a few years under my belt and had lost energy and enthusiasm for most things. I was also experiencing cognitive (memory) challenges. The local health food store recommended Lion’s Mane, and boy howdy…did it ever work!! My energy level increased. My enthusiasm returned. And I now have fewer challenges with remembering things.

    Beneficial mushrooms
The potential benefits of Lions Mane make this worth trying. Research has found that lion’s mane may protect against dementia, reduce mild symptoms of anxiety and depression, help repair nerve damage, and even help (or stimulate?) brain cell growth. The bottle says recommended dosage is 3 capsules per day, but generally accepted maintenance dosage is up to 750 mg per day so about one capsule which means the bottle will last 3x as long. Three capsules would be for a condition like nerve damage, treatment rather than prevention. I’ve been taking these a couple of weeks and can’t tell any difference but didn’t expect to, at least not yet. I have nerve damage and hope I can tell a difference in months, not weeks. Anything that research says can help with the nerve damage and possibly help prevent Alzheimer’s/dementia is worth trying, especially if it doesn’t cost much either. I don’t notice a taste, and the size is fairly typical for a supplement capsule, about an inch long.

Made me question why I felt sick
After taking this and feeling off and then stopping and restarting it , I am 100% certain now that this Lions Mane made me foggy headed and nauseated. I find that so strange since I’ve taken Lions Mane for years. I didn’t attribute it at all until I went off it then back to it and it was absolutely this supplement that caused my symptoms. This may very well be a good product for others, but If you take this and don’t feel well you are not alone.

This has interactions with certain other drugs. Check with your doctor before taking.
This is a review of Best Naturals Lions Mane Mushroom Supplement 2100mg – 120 Capsules – Supports Mental Clarity, Focus & Immune Health – Added Black Pepper for Maximum AbsorptionI wish this supplement had had better information on the product page., As it turns out, after checking with my Doctor I learned that Lion’s mane may interact with certain medicines such as; anticoagulant, antiplatelet medications that lower blood sugar, anti-anxiety & antidepressant drugs and possibly others. Consequently I cannot take this supplement. Best advice is to check with your personal physician before taking this or any other supplement if you also take prescription medicines.

    Lion’s Main
I have not seen much change however they are supposed to help your brain grow new connections and improve memory. I have noticed that I’m not forgetting stuff so often.

Absolutely Great! (Trying 3 Different Lion’s Mane Mushroom Supplements, and I’m Happy!)
A few months ago, I read an article about how Lions Main Mushrooms may be helpful for the memory.I took note. Until my mid-30s, i had an incredible memory. People would remark about how amazing it was. Then (long story short), it flipped off like a light switch, and I can’t remember anything – things I’ve done, tasks I want to accomplish, tasks I’m in the middle of accomplishing. It’s upsetting. It’s disturbing. People noticed.I started taking this (along with 2 other forms – I adjusted the dose to TOTAL 1000 mg/day) 3 days ago, and TODAY I started feeling an improvement! I’m a little sharper, more focused. I can remember things I want to accomplish. If I get distracted, I can get back on track. I can multiprocess, again!Plus, I feel more energetic. That’s important as well, because when you want to accomplish something, even something mundane, if you don’t have the energy, you’re just not motivated.I’m really optimistic. If I feel this kind of improvement after 3 days, maybe things will get even better!I’ve tried a few other supplements that are supposed to address memory. Some have helped a bit, one threw me into chaos. But Lion’s Main Mushroom seems to be the answer! (And when I’ve tried other supplements, I’ve given them a month before reviewing. But I don’t need to wait a month. This is working!)Notes:1.I’ve read a few articles about Lion’s Mane Mushroom supplements, and they have recommended taking 600 mg – 2000 mg a day. The label on these say the dosage is 3 capsules, for 2100 mg. I’ve fiddled with this, and take 1 of these, 1 of a supplement that recommends taking 2 for 1000 mg (that’s 1200, total), and 4 drops of a liquid supplement (to bring it to 1500 mg. )2.These supplements also contain 10 mg of black pepper extract, but the other two don’t. I googled. That’s supposed to make it easier for your body to absorb other nutrients and supplements.I’m going to use this same review for all three Lion’s Mane Mushroom supplements I’ve been taking, since it’s likely they all have a hand in this improvement!

A good source of Lion’s Mane
This lion’s mane supplement is made from the Fruit body which is the caps and stems (Hericium Erinaceus) as opposed to the rood system (mycelium). The fruit will give you a more pure source which is not mixed with other plant roots (fillers) as you generally get with the root source. The only negative on this product is that it is a powder instead of an extract. Extracts can provide a higher potency and are more fully digestible. An extract product, though may cost about 1/3 more than this one. This seems to be a good option for the price.Note that WebMD says that Lion’s Mane might slow blood clotting, so you should be aware of side affects.
